Celebrated a birthday out with 4 friends. Excellent service and enjoyed the patio seating on the nice, warm Chicago evening. We had a few appetizers to begin along with salads afterwards. None of them were that unusual but nicely prepared and presented. Steaks all arrived at the table as ordered along with the ordered sides that can easily be shared by four. As with most steak houses, not inexpensive, but we felt it was priced accordingly.
Food was underwhelming. Nothing special, lacked seasoning. My salmon came out undercooked. Sent it back and it was fixed but it was supposed to be King salmon and it was not the quality I expect of King salmon. The restaurant was very loud from the bar. It was impossible to converse at out dinner table. Everything a la carte, no bread or salad with the meal. For the high prices, mediocre food and noise it was not a pleasant dinner and not a good value or enjoyable special evening. Bar and waitress service was good.
Excellent Service and great food
Bess took good care of us. Made the dinner a special time to relax and enjoy an excellent food and drinks
The transition went ok with the new administration by Landry.
The Palm is the Palm
Service and food were fabulous as always. I live next door
Outdoor patio dining food was awesome.
I love The Palm!
Fully enjoyed the dining experience at The Palm. Professional staff prepared and presented a first class meal. Will be returning to The Palm as soon as possible.
Got there 12 minutes late for my reservation and the kitchen was closed.
I visited this location on a birthday trip to Chicago. I chose this location because it was close to the fireworks. The scallops are divine. My friend really enjoyed the raw oysters. I tried the fried Oysters Rockefeller which had potential but I did not enjoy the sauce used. The layered chocolate cake was delicious. We do believe our waitress was incredibly drunk but she was funny. I enjoyed dining here & would visit again.
Food was delicious. Had gone there years and years ago, and still have great 1/2 and 1/2 and still delicious. Wonderful spaced out seating.
Nice covered outdoor patio. Wonderful food and great service. Pricey but a very nice dinner experience
My coworkers and I had such a good time earlier that week we decided to go back.
It was amazing. I wish I had taken a picture of the lobster bisque. I inhaled it. Food was amazing and so was the service. Truly amazing lunch
Many places were booked for a last minute bday dinner but I’m glad we came to The Palm. The food was great and the best sweet potato fries we’ve ever had. Waiter, wish I remembered his name, he was awesome!! We will be back.
Fantastic dinner as usual.
Tomas is awesome.
Great place for business lunch. Highly recommend
Quite good, found it a bit pricy for the steaks.
Outstanding service from Thomas!
Had a wonderful time at The Palm in Chicago. Staff was gracious, friendly and professional. Food was outstanding as usual. Had live lobster - after all The Palm is the best at preparing live lobster. The outdoor seating was perfect. Will be back.
The service from Tomas (long time employee there) was stellar!
Excellent classic service. Lobster Gnocchi and Filet were outstanding.
There was a short wait before our arrival was acknowledged, but subsequent service was outstanding. Water was immediately served, with cocktails shortly thereafter. We couldn't have asked for a more attentive or personable server than Bess. We enjoyed both the generous chopped salad and wedge salad, the latter with plenty of blue cheese and tasty onion rings. An 18oz prime rib special was declared very good, but the char on the filet mignon was drying, so not as "melt in the mouth" as previous experiences in other Palm restaurants.
Drinks was great, the service was marvelous and the food was delicious.
Took our 3 teenagers there for a special treat on our family vacation. Only thing better then the amazing food was the impeccable service! Highly recommend.
Great lunch at one of my fav Chicago restaurants.
We have never been disappointed eating at the Palm
Wonderful food, great staff
This place was beyond amazing! From the service to the food everything was perfect. The view was also breathtaking. I will definitely dine here again.
Food, especially the steak, was awful.
We ordered 3 filets total and 2 of them were over cooked and the third was cooked well but in general there was a lack of overall flavor.
I miss the old Palm. Nothing says 50$+ steak and 100$ wine like UFC fighting on the big screen next to our table. Steaks were okay but not top class steakhouse. Service was very slow. Sat over our salads for a half hour. Finally flagged down waitress who brought lukewarm entrees. I guess ownership is going after the next generation but they have lost me in the process. Too bad.
Good was outstanding and service was second to none!
It was a great night at The Palm. We had a table overlooking Navy Pier, service was excellent!
In Chicago from Dallas. The Palm in Dallas closed after 30 years. When I saw this in Chicago it was a must. Awesome food. Michael was a great wait person
Veal chop was perfect as were the potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach. Michael’s service was outstanding.
Great restaurant. Will definitely be back
Tried and true, an outstanding meal as usual. Lobster and Gigi salad are consistently wonderful!
