Great lunch at one of my fav Chicago restaurants.
We have never been disappointed eating at the Palm
Wonderful food, great staff
Food, especially the steak, was awful.
We ordered 3 filets total and 2 of them were over cooked and the third was cooked well but in general there was a lack of overall flavor.
I miss the old Palm. Nothing says 50$+ steak and 100$ wine like UFC fighting on the big screen next to our table. Steaks were okay but not top class steakhouse. Service was very slow. Sat over our salads for a half hour. Finally flagged down waitress who brought lukewarm entrees. I guess ownership is going after the next generation but they have lost me in the process. Too bad.
Good was outstanding and service was second to none!
It was a great night at The Palm. We had a table overlooking Navy Pier, service was excellent!
In Chicago from Dallas. The Palm in Dallas closed after 30 years. When I saw this in Chicago it was a must. Awesome food. Michael was a great wait person
Veal chop was perfect as were the potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach. Michael’s service was outstanding.
Great restaurant. Will definitely be back
Tried and true, an outstanding meal as usual. Lobster and Gigi salad are consistently wonderful!
Our server Mike was great, but the menu prices were so ridiculous they bordered on hilarious. The Chilean Sea Bass filet was a slab of bass on a plate with a small pile of oily spinach. $47. No garnish, no interesting spices, no thought to presentation. We weren't a group of red meat eaters but good thing --the beef selections were equally ridiculously priced.
The best thing was our server, Pam. She was very nice and energetic.
Unfortunately, the food was not the best and way over priced for
Food was great. Service was outstanding
Last night I treated myself to dinner and had the pleasure of having Thomas as my server. He was so kind and attentive, and when I had one item I didn’t like he took it away and took care of that charge. I often find that being a very small woman who frequently dines out alone, servers don’t always take the time with me that I notice they will with other tables. That was certainly not the case with Thomas, he was absolutely wonderful. I also really appreciated that I was seated at a larger table, rather than the typical “single person” table in the corner, that made me feel so much more valued right from the start. I love seafood, and I ordered several seafood appetizers and treated the night like a little tapas meal, and I was not disappointed. With the exception of the one dish I didn’t like that Thomas took care of, everything was delicious. I highly recommend the fresh Oysters and scallops, and I was so pleased to have the last of the chefs special mussels since mussels are my favorite! This was my first time eating at The Palm but certainly won’t be my last, I had a lovely time and meal that wasn’t too heavy, and so incredibly fresh! Thank you to Thomas for helping me to have a lovely evening.
We had the most wonderful time there, the staff was delightful!
I really like this restaurant, it's ambience and the food is consistently very good.
LOVE THIS PLACE. 1st time. OYSTERS WAS AMAZING…
Outstanding service! Food selection was varied, selections were plentiful and delicious.
Excellent staff and food! Enjoyable night. Would highly recommend. Bartender made super drinks too.
I was excited to try it. The food was great, the service was on point. However the ambiance and overall feel of the place didn’t match the level of exquisiteness reflected on the menu prices. The staff is incredibly friendly. I probably won’t return though.
The steak was good but they don't serve enough food for the price .We spent $300 and I left still hungry.
Everything was great the server the food the atmosphere
Great food and drinks, love it
Terrible experience. Dry steak. Not aged and not right cooking temperature. Will not return.
We had a large group of 13 people for Father’s Day brunch, which included three small children. It was absolutely perfect—private dining area, great service and wonderful food. And not overpriced at all. Highly recommend!
Superb! Fathers Day Dinner, very special and great dining room with the windows and a view.
Great service by Michael and Victor. We love the Palm
The service, food, and especially the steaks are over the top. The appetizer selections were followed by a fantastic dinner!
The waiter made us feel special. The food was excellent. And the view couldn't be beat!
High quality dining experience, but be prepared for the $$$$ prices.
Good experience! Would recommend to a friend if ask!
They Service was amazing. The food was outstanding. It’s a definite must go.
Service was impeccable. One of the best lunch time servers I have ever had , and I work in Hospitality.
Timing and pacing of drinks, apps, entree and coffee was completely on point. The food was very good.
My only complaint is that when I approached the host stand , the gentleman asked me if I was looking for UPS.. I was wearing tan capris and an embroidered navy top, so maybe the tan pants threw him off. I was unsettled about it , but he recovered when I told him no UPS, I have a reservation with a friend l. So that was a dark cloud on an otherwise really good lunching experience
My steak was perfect but my friends steak was underdone.
My steak was center cut filet and may have been the best I have had in memory.
Last 3 visits extremely bad - no comparison to our many visits over the past 30+years. Very disappointing in every aspect.
It was quiet and the staff was very personable. Food was good and we enjoyed it!
Two excellent steaks, prepared exactly as requested. Extremely tender and tasty. Recommend The Palm to anyone who enjoys a great steak
