The Palm Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
We have been to Palm a dozen
times and every time food is consistent ,steaks are always cooked to perfection, we had jumbo shrimp cocktail,Caesar salads ,both were great & always good service ,it's pricey but once in a while you have to splurge,a definite to try if you like a great steak !!!!
In Atlantic City, there is no other 5 star restaurant that has the same combination of great food and fiendly staff. Really made us feel appreciated.
We Sat at the bar and watched a football playoff game. Complete menu was available. Bartender was super nice, made some great app and entreé suggestions and poured great drinks. The service was awesome and all the food was served quickly and exactly as requested (love my steak medium rare and charred on the outside .... hard to do right). My son’s chicken parm was the best I have ever tasted (and the largest I have ever seen too). The sides are huge and enough for 3 people.
If you are into Tequila ....... The Palm has a great selection of Tequilas. Try the super smooth Siembra Azul-extra Añejo.
We are absolutely going back to The Palm the next time we are in AC!!!!
Took my mother in-law there for her birthday, along with my wife and adult son. My son ordered the Ahi Tuna and I had the Chilean sword fish. Both my son and I thought our dishes were delicious. My MIL and my wife both ordered clams linguini for some reason (probably because it was one of the cheaper things on the menu. Neither of them were impressed with their meals. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer--it was very good. We also ordered three "family style" side dishes--creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes, and garlic mashed potatoes. Side dishes are $13 each. The first two were very tasty. I thought the mashed potatoes were so-so, and were very stiff and dense. The only alcohol ordered was a draft beer ($6.75). Service was very good and my MIL was comped a dessert for her birthday (creme brulee), which was excellent. Overall all, I would say the experience was good. The only thing that would keep me from going back are the prices. Average of about $50 for an entree without any sides. For the four of us, total cost with tip (16%) was $250. Remember, this was for a dinner with almost no alcohol. I did have a peak at the wine list and the wines were very pricey. If you are rich, then I recommend the Palm. If you are middle class like me, I recommend looking for more value for your buck.
The food and service was excellent. They sat us as soon as we arrived even though we arrived early, which we greatly appreciated. Everything is cooked to order so plan to spend additional time. The lobster bisque and French Onion Soup were fantastic. We ordered the steaks that were the days special and they were perfection.
I’m picky about my martini. Was quite satisfied with my Ciroc in and out martini with a lime. Shared dinner. Caesar salad was perfectly dressed. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked as was the Chilean sea bass. We are members of the ‘837 club’ and enjoy eating at the Palm whenever in the vicinity. Definitely recommend.
Went here for my birthday with my fiancé. Everything was excellent. The food was prepared perfectly and the service and presentation superb. I’m 58 years old and am a steak lover. Positively the best filet I ever had. And I have eaten at many fine restaurants. The only negative I could say is that we weren’t asked if it was a special occasion.
Simply the best restaurant, bar none, in Atlantic City. You cannot beat the awesome combination of great food and amazing staff. We are always made to feel very appreciated. Service is always spectacular. The food is to die for!!!
Went here for Thanksgiving dinner. A family friendly atmosphere with friendly servers. The traditional turkey dinner was delicious with lots of turkey(including some dark meat) and lots of delicious stuffing. My friend had the strip steak and said it was the best he has had. More of a casual atmosphere, rather than elegant but high quality food. Will go back for the steak!
I've been to this Restaurant before and always had a full dinner. This time i asked to be seated in the cocktail lounge where a happy hours was in progress, great food including fresh oysters calamari(among the best i have ever had)and the piece de la resistance, fried clams in a special sauce that was outstanding. The dishes just got better and better.I can't say enough about the service my waiter bus boy and extra service waitress were happy wonderful people who made the meal something i will go back for.By the way the dishes ar 1/2 price in the lounge and tap beer was 5.00I complimented Anthony Romano on the food but more importantly to me his great staff.I also remember from a previous visit he was about to be married so i remembered to congratulate him on his wedding. All and all a fine dining experience(and i even won a little at the casino to end a perfect evening)
The food was extremely over-priced given the quality and quantity. Menu was limited to several over-priced options. I ordered a NY strip steak (14oz) and it didn't come with anything. Just a piece of steak on a plate for $50, no vegetables or potatoes. Sure we could have ordered a side for an additional $10 for an individual serving???...spinach $10, green beans $10, asparagus $10. Are you kidding me? If we wanted to go crazy and order mac & cheese with a bacon crust for two. That would cost almost $20 ($5 up-change for bacon crust). I knew the Palm would be expensive; I had been there several times before however this time the quality and quantity didn't align with the price. There are better options for dinners out there. Again, the food was very good, not exceptional though and not for that price. I certain won't make the same mistake again.
Final note - the service was not spectacular. It was not crowded (7:00pm Saturday) as there were several empty tables in the dinning room. Our server was not attentive and did not return to our table very often to check on our party of four. I was bumped several times by both our server and the server for the table behind us. For some reason the servers and waiters kept trying to squeeze between my chair and the person's chair to my back. I guess it was too long to walk around the table and much easier to just keep apologizing for bumping into me. At one point the servers dropped silverware trying to squeeze through. Again, it wasn't crowed.
