I am a long time Landry’s Select member and frequent their establishments, so I was surprised at how disappointed I was with this experience. The food was subpar, the prosecco was flat, my lobster meal came with one claw, the list goes on. Extremely uncustomary.
The martini style steak topping was the very best thing I think I have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. The staff knew we were coming for our 10th wedding anniversary and were kind enough to have all signed a card for us. Very attentive staff and love the style of the interior. Our food was delicious. They only slightly negative I could say is that the Lobster risotto was a tad too al dente and could have used more seasoning.
We had a great date night. Our server Jeff was outstanding!
We enjoyed it.
Though courteous, the waitress incorrectly entered our order, leaving one of my family members to watch the rest of us eat our ENTIRE meals before he was served and leaving my son without his main dish. She didn’t even notify or bring in the manager until my uncle requested it. At that point, both burgers came out. Also, the food was mediocre in taste and seems overpriced to me. We’ve eaten at fine restaurants where the price was definitely worth it. I guess maybe you pay for the ambiance because that was pleasant, and the facility was nice. We won’t be returning.
Superb service with incredible food!! We’ll be back !
Awesome! Our server was amazing. My family enjoyed it so much. Most definitely coming back
The restaurant was not ready for a significant holiday. You would expect a restaurant to have a certain level of staff or preparation. We actually received our appetizer the same time we received our dinner. Our drinks we’re late also. You can tell the waitress was under enormous pressure. The food was good but for the prices on the menu you would expect a way better overall experience.
Yes! Service was great! Food was good. Staff very efficient.
First time and I wanted to have a day out with a friend. The food was great, as the selection is small they must do it well. Service some might say is overwhelming, but check on me.
Don’t go out out and ask for chicken fingers like the table next to us.
Expect to spend $125 for (2) no drinks.
The staff was very friendly. My mother in law enjoyed the lamb, and my kids really enjoyed their kids meals. However, the filet's were extremely tough and not good cuts of meat. They kindly replaced it with the salmon for us. But overall, what bothered me about this restaurant is that everything was just very subpar for the prices that they charge. When you spend $350 on the bill, you should expect excellence, and just nothing was really that great.
Took 30mins to get drinks, the chopped salad looked and tasted like garbage. The waitstaff was turned loose on their second night working and obviously needed more training. The manager just stood around while 5 waiters were waiting for drinks from the bar. There wasn’t a service bartender so the people at the bar ordered after us and got drinks before us.
The palm used to be one of our favorite spots to eat out in Atlanta. Reserved for special occasions. I won’t be coming back. Nor will I entertain clients at this restaurant.
Will never go back. Service was horrible. Drink orders were taken when we sat down and still did not have our cocktails for over 45 minutes. We were told "the bar lost our ticket". During that time our waitress avoided our table. We were there for a celebration but it was NOT a celebration. After my son complained twice to the waitress and manager we finally had someone come and apologize but it was too late. Then...nothing came together. We had to wait for a main course salad for one of the diners when all the steaks were already served! Then, the steaks came without the peppercorn seasoning...again had to wait. And did we feel "safe" in the restaurant? Yes!Two huge men who I assume were guards or bouncers stood at the front of the restaurant which is INSIDE a hotel when we came in and when we left. What is that about? Lastly...the parking garage and the valet stand smelled heavily of weed. Would never recommend or return!
Great service and definitely a great experience. Will go again.
Wonderful Experience, Great Food
The food was delicious! The hostess was welcoming and friendly. I loved the atmosphere and the private room for my birthday dinner. The waiter took longer than I expected to bring drinks, take orders, and bring food to the table.
We started with the seared scallops which were cooked perfectly, the cocktails were outstanding and the steak house wedge may have been the best I’ve had. Our waiter was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back!
Our server and the host was AMAZING. I just thought the steak would be better. The drinks were good!
The meals were outstanding, the service was as good as I have ever experienced and our Server was engaging and delightful. With a lot of serious competition in close proximity, The Palm can hold its own with any of them.
My food did not taste good at all. I order well done lamb and it came out burnt. I had to request that the two sides I ordered be taken off my bill. It was also my 30th birthday which I stated in my reservation but there was nothing special done for me. This was my first time trying this restaurant but I do not intend on returning.
The Palm is a favorite for special occasions and conveniently located inside the lobby of the Westin Buckhead. The food, service and atmosphere were delightful. I gave a less than average rating for the value, because everything is a la carte and for a $50 steak, they could throw in a salad or potato. Overall, fabulous!
Son accepted in a few medical schools
Sent 14 kids for prom. The took great care of them and made it a great night. Never knew 14 kids could spend $2000 without drinks - but it was worth it.
I was not happy with the service or food. Everything went wrong from the time me got there.
Our private room was nicely set hi but too dim , the air was extremely cold and the fan was blowing too hard. Yes they adjusted everything after we complained. The food was very bland and had no flavor at all my husband received his food very late and it was cold. They accommodated us by removing it from the Bill
Birthday for my husband
If you want a lobster plus a great salad [ Gigi's] along with greatest creamed spinach
on planet and finished with cappocino and key lime pie.......got to Palm in Buckhead!
One word: Excellent my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Easter Sunday Lunch
The food was overpriced for dry steak. The sides were bland. They brought my party of 10 one check and was like figure it out we don't do multiple checks.
Love the people, food and setting. Will definitely return!
Took My Husband here for his Birthday and was so disappointed especially since it was highly recommended. Everything we wanted to order we were told they were out of and the waiter was not very professional. We never received straws for our Drinks or Water even after we asked. We end up only having drinks and leaving.
They ran out of bread and didn’t tell us. They ran out of mashed potatoes after we ordered. The waitress left pour drinks sitting after being made for 10 mins and we watched them sit had to inform the manager. Our bill had to be adjusted for all of the inconvenience.
My birthday was ruined. A cook walked out, they said there was a party of 20 and 2 of 10. I was a party of 8. Waited almost three hours for food and walked out with empty stomachs. They comped the drinks we had received though.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service at the restaurant was abysmal. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to our table and another ten to get water and a drink. We ordered appetizers and they were served with us having been given napkins or silverware.
We ordered salads and entrees, and waited over 30 minutes for food. The waiter was surprised we eared our salads served before our steaks. We declined the salads yes they still charged us.
The porterhouse for two was tasteless, the kitchen literally forgot the salt. The chimichurri was honestly disgusting, it was stringy and inedible.
When we objected to the salad being charged at the end of the meal no one cared to come over and address it, we finally just walked out.
This was a $500 check for three people. I cannot imagine a bigger reason for a restaurant to not exist.
The food, ambiance and service was excellent. We will go back soon. Highly recommended.
The table was had to be moved because it was broken. Our server was overwhelmed and didn’t attend to us consistently. Didn’t tell us cokes weren’t refillable.
