The Palace Supper Club Restaurant is set in the heart of the Chinatown Mall in a stunningly refurbished and restored Yum Cha restaurant that oozes class and style with a dash of playful fun for good measure.

The 50 seat restaurant complete with custom made furniture, tableware and décor lend a slightly regal yet refreshingly warm and inviting charm whilst the expansive Terrace overlooking the Mall offers a wonderfully relaxing al fresco experience and multiple seating options.

Priding ourselves on sourcing unique, quality and environmentally sustainable produce The Palace Supper Club boasts a beautifully balanced and expertly crafted menu from young up and coming Executive Chef Hayden Pomona. Whether it’s the Canadian Clearwater Scallops of which we are the only restaurant in the country to have access to or the near impossible to find cuts of shin bone complete with mouth-watering marrow the Palace will never cease to surprise you.

Once again we had an absolutely lovely meal. The new menu is excellent. The oysters were the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back and try it again.

Had a lovely evening here, loved the style and ambiance of the venue, and the great service from all of the staff. However, it unfortunately was very quiet. I do hope this was a one off, as it would be a shame for such a great venue not to flourish.

Arrived at 7:30pm and decided to have a drink on the terrace before dinner. The young staff who greeted us and took our drinks order were pleasant if a little uncertain. The bartender had to 'go get some Rose' which was brought out to my friend after about 10 minutes. Walking though the rather clinical glass door into the restaurant, there were only 5 or so others in the restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes for the friendly waiter to take our drinks order. I had the eye fillet with jus, both pleasant, accompanied by a bowl of average chips and mixed leaves - a small serve of baby watercress, seemingly undressed. I didn't see the mentioned selection of mustards and salts. The website photos and description appeared to describe a self assured restaurant, but I felt it lacked the experience and genuine charm I hoped for.

Beginning from front of house on our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive such friendly, excellent service from maître d, bar staff and waiting staff. Coupled with so much attention to detail and a wonderful meal, this made our whole anniversary dining experience even more pleasurable. An enjoyable evening!

Always an enjoyable experience. They introduced validated parking and the machine wasn’t working. The manager went to his car, grabbed his parking card and let us out of carpark resulting in not having to pay parking. The staff go above and beyond

Lovely ambience in this elegant restaurant, very 20s speakeasy in style. Food was great and service attentive. Great cocktail bar if you feel like kicking in after lunch.
