The Paddock at the Woodford Inn
Don't Forget to check Issacs Bar. Open same hours as the Paddocks Dinner hours.
Limited menu items , the food taste was lacking and the value of how the food tasted compared to the cost was just not there. The service however was good and staff were friendly.
I enjoyed half rack of tasty ribs and my husband had the salmon which was delicious too! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and our server was great!
First time at The Paddock. Friendly staff, good food, good value.
Easy access, was seated right away, food was good but service was outstanding, OUR SERVER WAS GREAT.
Wonderful restaurant to take family and friends when visiting from out of town. Quiet dinner where you are able to have great conversations to go along with great food! We will be back.
Menu had a variety of choices. Our food was great, prepared just right and very flavorful. The service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable.
We ate at Woodford Inn May 25 based on prior reviews. The food was hit-or-miss: the fried pickles and Brussel Sprout salad weren't good, the salmon and Reuben were fine, and the potato skins and asparagus were done well. Service was unreliable; food came out in the wrong order. Our expectations were higher bc of the good review and somewhat elevated prices.
Music on the patio was an awesome touch. Band was amazing!
Chicken and waffle soggy. Fish and chips good. Reuben good. Salmon good. Flat bread pizza crust was tough but toppings good. Server was overworked and apparently the kitchen is too small.
Loved the atmoshphere and live music. Would reccomend for anyone looking for a good meal and a good time.
After being slightly disappointed at the grand opening my grandson and I saw the Facebook post about the chicken and waffles and decided to give them a try. My server (Kristi) was very friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely will be coming back, even looking to book my 60th birthday party here!
Mother’s Day. Great food. Good price.
My family of 9 adults and 2 children had reservations for Mother's Day. Using Open Table for reservations left us not knowing there was a limited menu. (And I do mean limited!!) A family member did see on Facebook a couple of days prior what the menu would be. At this point, we decided it would be too late to go elsewhere so we kept our reservations. We were greeted by 2 very friendly young ladies. Our table was ready when we arrived and we had a room to ourselves which was nice. The very unhappy waitress came to get drink orders and we asked a few questions about the menu. After getting our drinks, she returned to take our food order. During this time she managed to let us know that she had worked 13 hours the previous day and did not want to be there. Not what you want to hear from your server. Drink refills were very slow. Appetizers were just so so and the fact they were room temperature did not help the taste. When the entrees started coming out, they came in shifts. Some people had completely finished eating before others got their entrée. Now for the entrees......NO SIDE ITEMS????? Really????? The waffles looked and tasted as if they had been prepared the day before and reheated in the microwave. Some plates were accompanied by 2 scrawny pieces of chicken and some had 4 pieces. The small piece of cod was completely hidden by the so called "mango salsa". The only entrée that was half way ok was the quiche which was more like a casserole. At this point, we were no way going to even try a dessert. We had high hopes that The Paddock would be close to Addie's but were extremely disappointed. I heard the same review from a coworker regarding a family member of hers that was there also. Unfortunately, it was bad enough that I wouldn't give it a second try nor would I recommend it to friends. On a positive not, we did have some great laughs at how ridiculous our experience was as well as getting some great pictures on the porch.
It was our first time eating there and the food was delicious! You must try the chicken and waffles!
This is a “best value” place to eat. The price fits the menu well. Not like some Lexington steakhouses 500% overpriced and not worth the money.
The Paddock is s very refined place, great food and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!
Had a great time with friends tonight! Had a wonderful hot brown for dinner and a nice dessert. Service was great. We enjoyed the quiet, calm atmosphere...and running into other friends.
The Paddock needs lots of work to be at the same level as Addie’s was. We had a reservation that I had made about 5 days prior. We were seated in a back room that looked like it had been used for storage. Our appetizers were really bad. The spinach/artichoke dip was like in a clump as if it hadn’t been thoroughly melted. The cheese sticks were dripping in grease. We were brought the wrong entrees the waitress put other people’s food at our table that was similar to what we had ordered. She finally figured out that it wasn’t right and took up the food and put back on the tray. Those that ordered wine or a mixed drink didn’t get their drinks for a very long time. I had the Hot Brown which was $15.00. It was in a small bowl. The meat seemed to be very thin deli ham and turkey. The sauce had a grainy substance. I could only eat half due to the poor quality. My husband was given the wrong food twice. Another person ordered a salad and was given lettuce with croutons. So disappointed! We loved Addie’s and this is nothing like it.
This wasn’t what we were expecting. This could be a really cozy, quaint, nice place with a little attention to detail and a better menu. We were so disappointed we just ordered an appetizer and left.
