To keep you on your toes our head chef changes our evening menu regularly depending on what comes in fresh that day. Everything we offer is homemade and we source as much of the produce as we can as locally as possible. We always make sure there is a choice on the menu for Vegetarians, and we ask that when booking you let us know of any dietary requirements so we can tailor that evening’s menu appropriately.

Lovely little village pub, it was a special occasion and didn’t even offer a free drink or desert, in fact charged £3 for the tinniest of scoop of ice cream, we thought we got 3 tiny scoops for £3 so ordered 9, it came to £27 not £9! Absolute rip off!

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Lamb was delicious as too was the chicken. Staff were lovely

The heading as a gastro pub is somewhat misleading more accurately a pub that serves bub grub with a heavy emphasis on burgers

Thai was greasy and the vegetarian pad Thai contained no vegetable. Characterless waitress and little personal service. Complained and reluctantly the offending item was refunded.

Disappointed. Visited the Pack Horse on recommendation. Website said Tuesday night was Burger night and was fine with that and hungry by time we arrived. Website not updated. Misleading. Turns out Monday and Tuesday are Thai nights - not mentioned on website at all. Would not have gone if known. Ok with Thai but would not go to a pub for it. No other options available. Service was good. Thai starters were good and plentiful but neither of us particularly enjoyed mains. It did seem popular and we could tell people were enjoying. They need to update their website if not yet done. Shame - was looking forward to it.
