Love this place! Great local. Nice atmosphere and decor! Very friendly staff and efficient service! Food was very good and well presented! Ploughman’s Platter excellent! One of weekend “go to” restaurants for our date night!

Great service and the fish and chips was amazing. Perfectly cooked non greasy and the chips spot on. Thank you.

I used to go to the Oxley regularly, but moved out of the area a couple of years ago. The vibe was still good, as was the service, however, the food was very disappointing. I had fish and chips, which, in the past, were excellent. The chips tasted stale and the fish was an overcooked thin strip. I asked for a replacement of the chips, which they happily did. The salad that replaced the chips consisted of one type of lettuce, raw onion, and dressing. Very ordinary.

Rude waiter ended an overpriced meal. Extremely loud. A bit disappointed at the overall experience.

The burgers are a go-to as are the fish and chips but if something catches your eye then go for it because you can bet it will be good also. Everything is good. Great selection of craft type beers as well, the service is always amazing and the people are friendly. Great people watching on the front patio in the summer and Yorkville is like a car show, if that's your thing. Always looking for an excuse to drop in!
