   Came for brunch. My breakfast came out cold while my wife’s was fine. Once they replaced my meal, the food was good. However, by the time they re-plated mine and served it, my wife was almost done with hers. Coffee was lukewarm but the Bloody Mary and Mimosa was nicely chilled. Nice ambience and it was quiet. We had reservations for dinner for another night but we cancelled it and will dine somewhere else.

   We dined at the Owl on our 6 month wedding anniversary weekend for Brunch 4/27. We sat on the balcony and it was a perfect day filled with the smells of the fresh honeysuckle blooming. The service was excellent. We had the Crab Cakes Benedict and a Breakfast Sandwich which were both delicious. We are always in search of who has Hanson Vodka, which is amazing and they had everything we wanted. Bloody Mary with Hanson Habanero, Screw Driver with Hanson Mandarin and an Espresso Martini for dessert with Hanson Espresso Vodka. Excellent experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

   We were seated prior to our reservation time which was great. We sat on the patio so it was quiet. The food was pretty good, but our service ruined it for us.

   Great friendly service. Good southern food. Nice view from the deck in a charming Forgotten Coast town. The gumbo was perfect and the fish and chips more than ample.

   Service and food were excellent. Had stuffed shrimp appetizer with shrimp and grits and fried oyster salad as entrees. All delicious.

   Enjoyed sitting outside on rooftop patio! Food was great and our waitress was so nice and attentive. Was a relaxing dinner!

   Me and my wife had a 7:00 PM reservation for our 20th Anniversary. I made the reservation through Open Table and included a note regarding the special occasion we were celebrating. I was a bit disappointed that neither the hostess nor the server recognized the occasion. The main dining area was rather empty, but it still took a while (over 5 minutes) for our server to take our drink order. The food was great, and our server was very nice. I guess my expectations for the experience were a little higher than reality.

   It’s one of the nicest places in area . The restaurant was very clean and service was good. The seafood was fresh. The salad and Cole slaw was rather small. The entree was good and the price was about the same as other eateries in the area! We celebrated our anniversary there while visiting the area of the Forgotten Coast!

    Party of 4 seated in dining room. Took about 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge our presence. Wine delivered was not wine ordered…later to discover after I complained and given the “new”menu that the wine list in the menu was no longer their wine selection. 🤷‍♀️. The door to the balcony was propped open which created a draft across our table. As there was no one to ask, I closed the door. It was after all in the 50s with a brisk breeze. The hostess promptly appeared and opened the door again. I went and explained why we closed it and that if it remained open we would need a different table as of I was wearing a coat to sit at the table, surely the food would not stay hot when served. Told to move to any table with wanted to but without assistance. Not a hard choice as tables were unbussed or paper was wrinkled so no way to determine if they were cleaned. Definitely smoky in that area of the dining room. Waitress noted in our previous location serving tables with a young child on her hip. Food came undercooked and room temperature at best: steak, mashed potatoes and a whopping 2 stalks of asparagus. I asked for additional gravy for potatoes and was told that they probably didn’t have any “extra” because they make it to order with each meal. Later was given a bowl of canned mushrooms and brown gravy mix. Horrible!! Not wished I tasted it before I put it on my food. I asked it they were understaffed hoping to explain the slow service and poor food but was advised that they were fully staffed but had a LARGE party in the other room. So we suffered for their overbooking. Waitress filed our water glasses with runny nosed child on her hip. Who does that? Asked the staff at The Tap Room for manger/owner contact instead left mine. No response from them so posting here to warn other diners.
