   The menu was nothing close to what we had seen on the website. Whilst that was disappointing the food we did choose was outstanding. The service started poorly but when a new waitress appeared everything was perfect. We had river trout and seafood tagliatelle. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and excellent service.

   Limited menu during the Spring "off season" but the fish was arguably the best ever tasted.... attentively served by Justin... who found us an excellent Shiraz to drink.

   Great location. Arrived and we were left standing at the door with staff whizzing past us to attend to a wedding party and didn’t even acknowledge we were there for over 10 minutes, I had to ask someone if we could be seated. Once seated we noted that there was little ambience with no background music. The food was lovely when they hadn’t ran out of items on the menu. My wife and I ended up having to share a piece of carrot cake for dessert. This was a wedding anniversary meal and supposed to be special but we would attend again.

   Absolutely fantastic and quite possibly the best food we have ever eaten. Matt could not have done any more to make it an enjoyable evening for my husband and I and the cocktails he made had his own individual twist. He even offered to make us our favourite cocktail if it were not on the menu. Our waitress, Bella, was really friendly and professional and did an excellent job in looking after us. Credit has to go to the young, but incredibly talented, Josh who made the most amazing Focaccia and starters. He is definitely ‘up and coming’ and we would not be surprised to see him on Master Chef in the future. This was not just a meal out, it was a truly enjoyable dining experience and we cannot recommend highly enough. If you are looking for a special night out then book a table - you won’t be disappointed.

   Delicious meals in the historic dining room of the Osborne Hotel. Matt, the manager, is very personable and has lots of exciting plans for the restaurant. Dinners were sophisticated and flavorful, and the breakfast options were varied and tasty.

   Hotel changed booking time, even though we booked weeks before the date, they had a function so mucked us about, food was good, but expensive for the amount of food, not very generous. Overall ok
