We are offer full service catering throughout Northfield and the Southern Metro. We can provide executive lunches, buffets, plated dinners, appetizer buffets along with deli and sandwich trays.
Private party facilities
We offer the entire building for private events on Sunday evenings after 5:00pm for up to 150 guests. We also have two semi-private dining rooms for up to 32 guests each. These rooms are available on a limited basis on weeknights and only available for seatings starting at 7:30pm or later on weekends. Minimum food and beverage purchases may apply based on day and date of the event. The private dining rooms are not available on special event weekends such as Graduations, Christmas Fest, Home Coming...

The special was excellent--beef (short ribs?), and root vegetables. The smorgasbord could have used a few more crackers or bread, one cracker and one tiny piece of bread a piece did not come close to using up the spreads that needed something underneath. The panisse was mild for Scandinavians, I guess; I would have like more spice. These are very picky things, everything was wonderful. The service was excellent, and the reason we would choose it over a comparable restaurant.

The food and service was wonderful. Be sure top your meal off with dessert; I recommend the chocolate mousse and blueberry-lemon tart.

We were early for our brunch reservation. We were able to be seated right away. The staff were friendly. We felt very well taken care of. And, the food was delicious!

Arrived early for reservation and luckily got seated right away; service was friendly and swift; menu has good selection of comfort foods and wine selection is nice too - started with warm pretzel and soup - both delicious; entrees were short ribs (awesome), fish & chips, and Swedish meatballs - all devoured. Capped off with bread pudding and cherry pie (best crust I’ve ever had!). We always look forward to dining at the ole store!

Fisk fry, meatballs and Lena burger all got top grades from 6 of us. Fries way above average. Our server did well though seemed to have a lot of tables to cover.
