Seemed to have lack of staff. Food was ok but nothing special. We had table booked for 6 o’clock as we were going to a show starting at 8 we didn’t have starters and only just finished our meal didn’t have time for coffee.

My friends and I always eat here before going to a show at the theatre opposite and the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately the menu has changed and our mushroom starter had so much mustard in it we could not eat it, our main was so salty we could not eat it and some if the desserts were not available so the choice was minimal. I am a vegetarian and the choice was minimal and not marked up as a vegetarian option on the menu. We informed the waitress that we were nit happy with our food, she was so busy she did not ask us for our feedback. We were so disappointed.

Half the mother days dishes ran out and to top it off what was left was served cold and was sent back to kitchen to be reheated twice

Pink beef was tough. Asked for steak knife. Waitress disappeared. Never came back. Steak was cold by that time another waitress offered to microwave the beef and offered hot gravy. Not the first time beef was inedible. Bill was paid in full plus tip by a table of 8.

We had a great experience at the Old Manor on Mothers Day. The staff were very helpful and polite, service was exceptional. We all enjoyed our main meals and scrumptious deserts. We will definitely be back again.

We had a fantastic time at The Old Manor. Not our first visit, and each time we love it. Staff are fabulous, food is great and atmosphere is lovely and friendly. It suits all our dietary requirements and is easily accessible for my mum who can't walk brilliantly. Thanks for having us

Excellent service, good menu, though some of our group were disappointed that the ribs were no longer on the menu. A few noisy tables near us, but it was Saturday evening and would have been odd if the place had been empty!

As always, the atmosphere and ambience was good as was the service. The staff were also pleasant and helpful. So far, all good. What wasn't good, however, was the new menu. If you you follow a vegetarian/vegan diet, the choices are now extremely limited! There seem to now be only 2 options under the vegetarian/vegan options in the mains. Limiting to choices to this extent is risking losing custom by effectively excluding a large proportion existing and potential clientele.

I have been dining at the Pub for many years and always enjoyed the experience. To my dismay the premises have changed ownership. So the menu has changed both in content and price. Since we only went every 4-6 weeks I invariably had the baby back ribs. Sadly not on the menu, pressing on I ordered a flat iron steak this was as is usual for this cut a bit tough, although I ordered medium; bits of the steak were rare; the chips were ok but not spectacular. My companion and I both ordered Bakewell Tart which my companion described as of industrial quality it was reminisce of school dinners. The staff were still the same providing the usual helpful friendly service. So all in all s disappointing evening with prices up to some extent this isnt easy to compare as most of the dishes were different but quality and range down I am sure we will put the Old Manor on the back burner for a while.
