   The food tonight was absolutely delicious. Could not fault anything. Both mine and my husband’s meals were so tasty! Have visited several times and am already looking forward to returning.

   We had a really lovely lunch here today. The staff were super friendly, helpful and smiley and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend!

   Great selection of dishes and specialty pizzas. Mussels were exceptional. A little on the pricey side but “normal” for St Ives. Cosy and v good service.

   Always have a great experience at the Old Forge and this time was no different. Great food and very friendly, attentive service too. Look forward to coming back again soon.

   Thoroughly enjoyable evening, fantastic food, best Tiramisu we’ve ever had and attentive welcoming staff. Looking forward to a return visit.

   We absolutely love coming here every time we visit Cornwall. Such a lovely dog friendly spot with lovely staff and amazing food!

   Have eaten here quite a few times now. Unfortunately the food and service did not live up to today's expectations - I had booked a while ago and mentioned it was for a birthday. We requested water for the table, which came, but there were no glasses! After asking, these arrived. However, we waited an hour for a small flat bread with two dips to share, which at £15 seems over priced. There was a further delay before the main course was served. We all found the lunch to be mediocre and nothing to rave about. It was reasonably busy but sadly no member of staff apologised or explained why there was a long wait. Needless to say, on this occasion, I asked for the service charge to be removed.
