Tried steak night, and was not impressed. Rump was tough, and if I were to guess, was not the advertised 350 gms. My wife's porterhouse wasn't great either. I've had steaks here many times in the past & they've been very good, but this is the first steak night I've been to. Also, we were charged more at the bar for wine, than the prices on the printed menus showed. Clare Valley Cab Sauv. This is a service industry, but no-one seemed to care ...

Took friends from interstate, we always rave about the food but was a little disappointed this time . Loaf of garlic bread was over done and a little burnt . Toast lamb was a bit fatty and just warm .

Steak was very good but overpriced. Potatoes were ordinary and lacked flavour and texture. Red wine jus wasn't right and inedible. The chicken parmigiana was average and overpriced for what it was. Overall, it was disappointing as the many times we've been before were much better. The Asian menu had too many pork dishes so as I don't like pork, didn't have much option to choose from there. I really miss the blu eye (likely seasonal) as that was one of the best dishes and one of the main reasons for choosing OE. Don't think we'll visit any time soon.

The wine choices were very good, great selection of beers on tap. Our round table was excellent for 10 people, food was served quickly and hot, the Rib Eye with Red eyes just was perfectly cooked. All meals were excellent and good value. Thanks for a great evening. Mario

Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, good food with that home cooked with love touch. I thought it was a little expensive but others commented what good value it was. For seniors, there is 15% off, every meal on the menu when you show your seniors/ pension card. (Although I couldn’t see this clearly written on the menu). They also serve an amazing bowl of vegetables with roast potatoes that isn’t printed on the menu, but it is my favourite, along with satay chicken skewer (4) entree and that delicious tirimisu. Thanks OE.
