Really lovely place. Down hill from there. Useless and slightly rude waiting staff. Simple question what lagers do you serve, didn’t know came back told me one , go to the bar they serve peroni on tap in addition to the one mumbled at me. Food was expensive poorly presented literally no garnish and not cooked well. Pink chicken overly cooked chips cheap ingredients for sure. Looking around similar experiences by other diners. Oh forgot one waitress dropped a plate of food on a customer. How was it handled…… shockingly badly.

There were 9 of us for Easter lunch which went well , but we were disappointed by the fact that there wasn’t lamb roast on the menu,which is a typical Easter Sunday lunch. The service was good and the food was well prepared. Thank you.

We ate in the sunny conservatory and had a lovely relaxed meal. The portions were large and the food good, the sticky toffee pudding was exceptional!

Last minute booking and a charming pub, limited menu but cooked to order and fresh. Mains and puddings were very good portions. Fish and chips and the burgers just felt slightly limited in flavour and seasoning which holds it back from five stars. Two adults, two teens and an under five. £156 including the tip and a drink each

Went there for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. We were seated next to the cosy fire. Service was great, food delicious, and the ambience and character of this old pub was marvellous.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch recently at the Old Boot Inn with a group consisting of 4 adults and 4 children. The playground outside is a massive bonus point. Apart from a minor hiccup with 1 of the kids meals all of the rest was delicious. A lovely, cosy country pub.
