   Our starters and main was excellent, but disappointed with dessert. I have been here before and highly recommended it. Thats why I came back with people I had recommended to. Last time for dessert I had warm waffles with ice cream & chocolate sauce, and it was excellent. This time I had the same dessert but was very disappointed, as the waffle was a packet waffle you can buy anywhere, severed cold with a scope of ice cream on it, and no sauce. One mouthful and left it, as it tasted horrible . Would recommend the steakhouse but definitely not the dessert

   We recently went to The Old Bell for a roast dinner. Greeted by a lovely hostess who sat us to our table. We ordered the lamb and turkey road. My first choice was the beef however, they had ran out. Both lamb and turkey dinners were amazing, both cooked to perfection! Yorkshire puddings were huge. We did over hear someone saying they had also ran out of veg which is why I think our veg servings were in the smaller side. Would happily book here again but will book a slightly earlier time ( so all food options available)

   The food was very good and portion sizes for starters and main's were enough not to have room for desert! Staff were very friendly and although it was a quiet night for a Saturday evening, the staff attention was balanced and we weren't feeling rushed. Will certainly be returning for another great meal!

   The staff here were fantastic! When my Mum and I got out of the taxi and Mum got in her wheelchair, someone rushed to open the door so that we could get in. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The meals were delicious and the staff kindly ordered us a taxi to take us back to the Radisson Blu hotel (the restaurants were all closed) at Stansted airport.

    Lovely well cooked food and really friendly and attentive staff. Food took slightly longer than usual but was well worth the wait. Amazing chips. Would highly recommend if you like well cooked grub. Not fancy. Just good grub, cooked well and served in a nice environment.
