   We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children visiting for mothers day. The whole experience was flawless, the service was amazing and the food was incredible. Best roast beef and cheesecake ever. Totally recommend

   Went for a nice afternoon meal I had the Beef and ale pie with chips and peas, was served by Abbie very helpful and polite, the food was very tasty and hot and plenty there too the pie was full with meat and was one of the best I've ever had think will be back to try a burger or pizza next

   Food was amazing, especially the balti which I had with king prawns absolutely delicious. Ham, egg and chips and pizza I am told was cooked to perfection. Staff very pleasant and greeting with a smile makes such a difference. Only comment to make apart from we had a really nice evening is that I was surprised that there was no wine list available. Minor but worth a mention as we had to ask what wines they had and it would have been good to see prices too. Having said that the Sauvignon Blanc was delicious so all good. We will definetly be back!!!

   Worst steak we ever had, it was tough as old leather, I asked for well done it wasn't, my wife asked for medium and it was rare, so half of it was left. There were also supposed to be onion rings and there weren't. We complained but no apology. Very disappointed. Won't be going again.

    Totally disappointed I always take visitors there and have fantastic meals. This time it was awful two ordered ham, egg & chips. The ham was terrible you couldn’t cut it and when you did you couldn’t chew it.We sent it back but what returned looked the same we were offered a steak knife as they said the knives are blunt. It was still the same. They took £3 off the bill

    This was a very pleasant experience as I was treating a friend to the meal. All Staff were friendly & helpful, & waitress service was outstanding… Our one disappointment was the meat ( roast beef) was very tough & quite gristly… had to request a steak knife to cut it!

    Very friendly staff - good atmosphere. spoiled a little as staff were not quite as attentive at clearing tables and offering sweets etc as they should have been . One desert was only half edible - other half rock hard. Main courses very good. Good selection on menu

    It was the first time we had visited The Old Beams. It was my birthday so I was hoping for a lovely meal. Unfortunately, the food and service were not great. For starter two of us had the breaded brie. This had not been cooked long enough and was still hard, should have been at least warm and melting. For mains I had the chicken burger, the chicken was dry and overcooked. Three of us had the roast. Beef was very nice but the yorkshire puddings were hard and burnt. The roast potatoes were not crispy and again dry. The cauliflower cheese was undercooked, but the cheese burnt on the top. Waitress had obviously had little training. The wine glasses were just plonked on the table at one end and the bottle of wine plonked at the other end. Only half the main meal dishes were removed from the table (forgotten) when we were asked what we wanted for dessert. Waitress agreed to check what the crumble of the day was but again it was forgotten. Not impressed. We left without a dessert or coffees. We will not be going back.

    We had a lovely birthday meal at the Beams 24/09/2022. We were made welcome and the provided a bowl of water for our dog. We all chose different things from the menu and were pleased and enjoyed the meal. Too full for a pudding.

    We are regular Sunday lunch eaters at the Beams but yesterday was the worst food we have ever had. The pork was cut with a bacon slicer it was so thin , the chicken was like rubber no greens a plate full of sweetcorn, roast potatoes you couldn’t cut with a knife a Yorkshire pudding you couldn’t cut with a knife. All in all disgusting food. On complaining to the manager he said it was too late to complain we should have earlier. We paid almost £70 for four plates of disgusting food. Needless to say we won’t be back.

    We had a pleasant evening at The Beams at the end of a week’s holiday in Stourport. Very nice food and good portions. The only think lacking was a bit of atmosphere, we were early on a Thursday evening and in light of the nations mood following the passing of Queen Elizabeth this probably contributed. We will visit again if we are in the area in the future.

    Love the old beams getting bit pricey now £14-50 for fish and chips had about 8 chips I’m not a big eater but a few more would have been nice other that that it was nice .

    No potatoes on a Sunday lunch and beef was very fatty and tuff plus paid £20 for a steak which was so fatty I struggled to eat it
