   Booked for Christmas fayre but was only told on arrival this was not available, and only when we asked for the menu. Food took ages to be served. Roast potatoes were like rocks and a lot of the turkey inedible. Only got drinks when we asked them to take order. Overall a very poor experience

   Lovely pub been a few times. Food was gorgeous however slightly disappointed that one of our party asked for the Sunday lunch and asked if they could have half and half meat choices. Eg beef and pork instead of solely pork or beef. The waitress said no. She was polite but not the most enthusiastic person. You need to be bubbly in these types of jobs.

   I do find that certain items are a little greasy like onion rings but can’t fault the value for money. Always a good portion and too much for the kids.

   Food served cold. I don't think dogs should be in restaurants, I am uncomfortable with dogs and do not want them around me. Tables were sticky, I appreciate that this was explained as the cleaning solution reacting with the varnish but this should has been rectified by now. Disappointed day.

   Service was outstanding very welcoming , food choice was good but little disappointed with hunters chicken there was no bbq sauce and bacon wasn’t cooked very well but description said crispy bacon , I would have mentioned it but no one came round to ask if everything ok with meals However, we would come again as other meals were fine , cleanliness and atmosphere were good

   Waitress was very friendly. Took our drinks order straight away. Forgot to bring us our menu so immediately went to get them when she realised. Food was very good but my beef stroganoff wasnt very hot. All other meals were great and mine tasted lovely and the beef was tender. Brought the bill when we asked but I had to queue at the bar for a while to pay. Will definitely visit again.
