A long time favorite at the Jersey shore, The Octopus's Garden has been pleasing the palates of seafood lovers and landlubbers alike since 1977. With a huge variety of fresh fish, beef and chicken as well as a complete vegetarian and vegan menu, we are sure to exceed your expectations. Originally located on LBI, The Octopus's Garden has moved to the mainland to a "built from scratch" state of the art green building just six miles from its old location.
Known for a great value, Lobster nights on Thursday and Fridays, have become legendary. Throughout the week guests will enjoy nightly specials.
Relax in the candle lit dining room lined with seaside snapshots and a large window looking into the pristine kitchen. It is the perfect restaurant for romance or celebration and as always the kids are welcome.
The Octopus's Garden is open all year long and can accommodate private parties.

Good service,temperature of food on arrival was just right. Nice value,salad choices with entre,Wine purchased was not outstanding but very adequate.Fish was well prepared with fresh well cooked vegetables.The red snapper flavor was excellent, texture could have been a little more tender.Price was fair.This restaurant has nice ambiance,is very clean and tables are spaced well for privacy.

Our 3 rd visit and it keeps getting better! Wonderful meal in a relaxing and warm ambience. A real jewel in this part of the state. I had Max special Lobster tails - outstanding. My wife had the Snapper- a real delight. Can't wait to go back.

Breaded lobster was fresh, cooked perfectly, seasoned very well. I was a little concerned about new owners, but they were very wise to keep the quality of food and the employees from the previous owner. I will go back.

Nice little find that was a little off the beaten path from Long Beach Island. More on the expensive side, but well worth it. Cozy atmosphere, great service, excellent food. Though we don't live close, will make the trip to try it again.

Really nice meal. Everything was freshly prepared and my sea bass entree was especially good. Portions were very nice as that used to be my biggest complaint at OG, but not anymore! Highly recommend dining here.

If you want to eat healthy fish prepared perfectly, this is the place to go. The menu is well-rounded with a large selection of fish but also has enough non-healthy non-seafood entries for your carnivorous friends to enjoy as well. The seasonings and sauces are gourmet and service was attentive but not intrusive. What a gem.

Very good, as usual, but disappointed that the lobster special was changed over the last few months. Was $28 with chowder and salad, now $29.5 with Xtra costs for soup and salad.

Frequent diners at OG's will be aware that ownership has changed. There are changes which is to be expected but the basic items and experience remain largely unchanged. Service is excellent. Some prices have increased and there is some nickel and diming such as now paying $2 for soup on lobster night. Theme nights such as half price appetizers and desserts have been replaced with an email list called the Inner Circle making offers. We imagine some guests may not like the changes, some may not mind and some may not even notice. There seem to be more non-fish items on the menu but the seafood based theme is still alive and well. Love the jazz music in the background...
