11/10 – Best Dining Experience in Canada! I went to The Octagon last night with my girlfriend, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. Hands down the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in Canada. Every single thing we ordered was perfect — from the warm garlic bread and rich onion soup to the mouthwatering appetizers, perfectly cooked steak and lobster, and decadent desserts. And don’t even get me started on the cocktails — it’s been forever since I’ve had a good Mai Tai, and they absolutely nailed it. Most places don’t even serve it anymore, let alone get it this right! The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the service was top-notch. You can really feel the quality and care in everything they do. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special or just treat yourself to an unforgettable meal, this is it.

We celebrated our son’s college graduation last night. Incredible experience we all enjoyed. Welcoming team and outstanding service!!! The food was top notch h and enjoyed by everyone. Great experience and would highly recommend Octagon to anyone looking to experience high class food and service. Well done!!!

The oysters rockefeller were terrible, the escagort was excellent, the garlic bread was very good, the ceasar salad had way to much dressing on it, the french onion soup was very good, the fries were very good, the steak was decent, the ribs were terrible, the California wine was very good, the bill was 436.18$ plus 20% tip for 4 people, it's now where worth that amount of money, I would never go back and I would never recommend it to anyone, sorry about the bad review , I'm just being honest.

Went for my anniversary! Service was amazing, fast, and all staff were polite. The food the amazing and cooked perfectly. Its truly a hidden jem and we will be back!

This was our first time at The Octagon and it won’t be our last. What originally jumped out on the menu was the table side prepared Caesar Salad when we were deciding where to go. We have to share that this was one of the best Caesar Salads either of us have had. And we have had many. The portion is quite large. I should mention that prior to ordering, we were served pickled vegetables and olives along with garlic bread toast. A nice touch. As our Main we ordered the Chateaubriand for two. It was cooked to order and carved table side once again. It was very tender and flavourful. The kitchen knocked this out if the park. Served with a generous portion of vegetables and a choice of potato. The wine list is extensive and well curated. The staff was very, very attentive, pleasant and friendly and this was no small feat as the restaurant was full. Can’t wait to go again!

The restaurant was very busy, on a Saturday evening. We were seated at a small table for two. I asked for a larger table, as I had seen other patrons in twosomes seated, and was told "No." We took the smaller table, and then saw other twosomes later seated at the larger tables. A little disappointing. The food was cooked perfectly. The service was good, but we felt like the staff was trying to hurry us up to get us out.

As for the servers rushing you out, we are never in hurry for you to leave, and always hope you have the best of experiences with us, nonetheless, we will take this to the team to review.
