   We went on Sunday for Father’s Day. The restaurant was very busy. They were doing a set three course meal for £23 which was good value. Scallops and bacon to start were amazing. I had the roast chicken for mains which was nice but the large Yorkshire pudding was very hard and stale which was disappointing. Dessert I had the chocolate bomb which was lovely but too much for one person and I did have any peanut paste in mine only a chocolate brownie.

   We had the Sunday roast. 2 of us had pork and one had the triple roast. Food delicious and service great. Only Minor issue was the size of the meat portions - a bit small on the pork roasts and very small amounts on the triple roast.

   The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is very nice and tasty with fair size portions. Service is quick but I didn't feel rushed. A great place to go for a Sunday lunch.

   Online Reservation was not even acknowledged, went all the way there for nothing. No effort to sort the issue out and offer us a table. Very disappointing!

   Food was lovely! Service was a bit slow, but given it was Mother's Day and very busy, it is quite understandable.

   Warm welcome and polite, had 3 courses which was good but service very slow had to goto bar to ask for plates, bottles , glasses to be removed waiters said they were busy but only 2 tables occupied at time disappointed as have been a few times and service was good. Should not left a tip

   Living close by we really want to enjoy this place - and it's already a lot better than it was especially with regard to the food but the service still lacks unfortunately. The gammon and eggs is my personal favourite. Others in our group had the burgers but they were over cooked but still nice.

   Average Sunday lunch. I had roast beef and it was tough and the Yorkshire puddings were very disappointing.
