We came here for Father’s Day dinner the service was amazing everyone was so kind and the food was delicious
Excellent service and food. Our server was extremely personable and attentive. We dined outdoor which appeared to be a newly extended section because of Covid-19 protocols. This section had a rustic ambience with dirt flooring. I would definitely recommend wearing sensible shoes. Overall, it was a relaxing enjoyable dining experience.
The only negatives were, their small parking lot and the portion of the lobster ravioli was a bit small.
Was a Great Way to The Exit Pandemic in a Wonderful Peaceful Setting and Excellent Service despite being short handed
A wonderful way to spend a holiday, a family gathering, dinner with friends, a birthday celebration or just a quiet romantic dinner for two. The atmosphere is memorable with a nice separation of tables with lovely lighting in the evening.
The service was unbelievably slow. It took over 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Their version of toast was white bread that was crunchy but not brown. So it seemed more stale than toasted. I didn't even feed it to the ducks.
Only issue is the sandy outdoors. We were a mess after brunch.
The environment his so beautiful and lovely. We just wish the food and service were better. Throughout dinner we had to search for our server. We had dinner there and had to wait a very long time for drinks and our first course. The main course was served right after the starters so everything was basically served at once. It need some tweaks.
We will try it for lunch given the lovely setting and patio. Hope to have better luck then.
Everything about this place is great I even easily found a parking space! The service was especially great the food was really good the environment is beautiful except for the dirt ground which needs to be switched out for something I don't know stones even and even to out other than that it's just lovely he should try it!
Oak Lakeside has very friendly and nice staff. My family and I enjoyed the beautiful view and lovely atmosphere of this restaurant.
Pancakes, huevos rancheros and the oaks burger were delish! The smell of the pancakes is amazing along with the taste. Super friendly service
We found this place in 2019 and we love it. We like to eat out in the yard under the trees.
The waiters are knowledgeable and provide reasonably quick service, considering they need to travel from the kitchen to the yard. Food is excellent; I don't remember ever being served any mediocre-quality item here. My only hesitancy is on the prices: They seem kind of steep for a normal slightly upscale American food place. And, we will be back.
The service was excellent, but menu was very limited and they sat us on the said you can barely see the lake. The lake is part of a community park and doesn’t seem to be very well maintained.
Love, love this restaurant but seem to have trouble getting it together. Phones do not work, cannot connect to change a reservation. Menu is small and needs some daily specials or a few added menu items.
First class all the way! Exceptional service. Very pleased.
The Oaks at Lakeside was a great experience. The service was great. They accommodated us and moved us to an indoor table because it was very hot outside. The food was amazing.
My friend and I had a wonderful 2-1/2 hour dinner last night at the Oaks at Lakeside with no pressure to get up and leave!!! We shared the Ahi Poke tower (fantastic, I probably could have made that my whole meal) and we each had a chopped salad with various deletions. There was so much salad (my friend added chicken, I added shrimp) that we both ended up asking for take-home boxes. Our server (who I'm not sure introduced herself but she was a rather petite blond) was as good as they come. The order came out exactly as requested, wine service was good .... We (or each of us) will definitely be back again.
Excellent service and the food was delicious
Food was disappointing , the front door was locked we had to walk around the gas station to get in .. To far of a walk for 2 elder women on a hot day ..
Very enjoyable for brunch. Our food tender was exceptional
Fantastic atmosphere, the outdoor seating is beautiful and under oak trees near the lake. The service was great and the music was at a great low volume so that we could hear each other's conversation, it was lovely all around.
Easy to make reservations online. Our wait time until we were seated was about 15 minutes. We waited about 15 minutes at our table until a waiter came over and asked us if we would like something to drink. The ambiencewas nice, we sat outside. The food was very good and on the pricier side. The drinks were $14 each.
Beautiful evening overlooking the lake and the ducks...Food was very good, not gourmet but acceptable for a new restaurant...Service attendant and helper were extremely courteous and helpful....Good use a little louder music to complete the evening...Yes we will go back again and will recommend the restaurant to our friends....Jack & Marilyn Barclay
Excellent ambience and food!
Staff wanted to please!
We opted for outdoor, seating next to the lake filled with ducks and geese. The ambience was relaxing which made for easy dinner conversation . The waiters were friendly . The food was good but a little pricey but not over the top. All in all, I,would recommend to a friend for a nice outdoor dining experience
My sister and her friend were there before I arrived with my party. We merged our tables and the first waiter was awesome. We were ready to leave and were paying our tab. We had a manager (who don't recall her name) and told us that people were complaining that we were loud, also stated that we had tip $10 (which that was not true), and that our time there was done (didn't know we had a time limit). Like I said we had a great time and had great service with our first waiter. Until this so called manager came in a very rude way and kicked us out. We spent almost $1000 in tour restaurant to be treated that way by your so called manager. We were planning to go there for a family event, now, we are not. We will spend out money were we are welcome and be treated with respect.
I would like to see a menu with more options.
Bring the lamb burger back!!
Horrible experience would not recommend this place at all
We were neglected for the first 15 minutes or so.
All was perfect, just my salad would be better with some different seasoning.. I was not offered the choice of sauce.. it still tasted good and I was pleasantly relaxed in quiet and nice environment. Staff was very amiable and quick to serve
wonderful meal and ambiance- lovely lakeside view and great food
My friend and I met at Lakeside for lunch on a warm afternoon. The outside tables are delightful, shaded by sprawling leaf covered tree limbs. Sunny spots are available; or umbrellas are brought if even more shade is desired. The ambiance is charming overlooking the lake, ducks can be heard quacking in the water.
Disappointing Salad, served room temperature, chicken dry and overdone, lettuce was tired! I’ve had much metter in the past.
Great place and service!
Great food and wonderful ambiance. Service was perfect.
The food is OK. Our fish was over-sauced and the pasta was over cooked. The salad and desert were fine. The wine list is short but acceptable. The outstanding aspect of this restaurant is dinning outside by the lake which makes the less than stellar food worth it.
Being in this beautiful, tranquil spot is always a treat. I love most of the food, just wish
they changed the menu a bit or had specials.
I was looking for someplace to take some friends of mine who I had not seen for several years (including a year of Covid). The Oaks at Lakeside was the perfect spot. It's in the neighborhood, but still maintains a country atmosphere (lake, ducks, the whole deal). The menu was superb for a light brunch (salads for everyone) and the service was excellent. The ambience was wonderful (soft jazz), allowing us to carry on great conversation with no problems with noise from traffic or surrounding tables. I will most-certainly be returning as well as recommending The Oaks at Lakeside to my friends.
The setting is just so wonderful here. It's one of the nicest outdoor settings in the Valley. It is also really nice there is so much outdoor seating and therefore everything is very well spaced apart. You can have a nice dinner with plenty of privacy and feel safe. The food was delicious and the service was great.
The food was better when under management as The Lakeside Cafe.
One of the waiters tried to get into a physical fight with my husband on our way out of the restaurant. Management did not intervene. Additionally, the waiter was not wearing a mask over his nose and got within inches of my husband’s face.
