I've had good dining experiences here, but this was my first and last brunch. It was not crowded, but it took almost an hour to get our food and another table that ordered well after we had ordered received their food first. When I noted this to the server, he said it was because we ordered the fritters which were homemade! The chicken in the chicken and waffles was burned and dried out, and had to be sent back. A manager allowed us to order a burger (which was a little undercooked) and apologized that the chicken and waffles had not been up to their standards. The server brought us some deviled eggs because of the wait, which I thought were gratis, but then there was a charge for them on the bill. They credited me $26 for "kitchen gifts" which was the cost of the chicken and waffles, fritters and deviled eggs.

We came for dinner while visiting our daughter at USC. The food was very good and our server was very knowledgeable and pleasant. However, the amount of time from when we sat down until when we received our entrees was very long. Our dinner reservation (for 5 people) was at 7:30 and we were there until 10:30. Many staff came over to apologize for the delays saying they had a lot of walk ins and were extra busy. However, we had a reservation and not every table in the restaurant was filled when we arrived. Then our server recommended two desserts which we ordered, but by that time, they were out of both. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice and it is quiet enough to have a nice conversation with the people you are dining with. The food is very good and we like the farm to table idea. Again the servers and other staff were very attentive and nice, just took a long time to actually get our dinners.

This was the first time we were here and we will definitely come back. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. CJ was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable and attentive. The whole experience was outstanding!

Our server, Cameron, was amazing!! The food was awesome as always and it made our Valentine’s Day/Anniversary extra special. Always a great experience.

I checked into my Main Street hotel and walked three blocks to the Oak Table. On Valentine's Day. The place was slammed but I got the last seat at the bar. I really like this place. I was greeted warmly by many of the restaurant staff. And the dishes were wonderful.PEI mussels in a gorgonzola cream sauce. In a nod to fish chowder, the kitchen added diced potatoes. Grilled bread to sop up the sauce. Next a classic beef tartar adorned with a local quail egg yolk. My only note to the kitchen on this dish is that the plating on a narrow plank was awkward. Great flavors. The bartender who served me was professional and attentive.

We had a great meal at oak table. We reserved the table through open table. The time options open table gave us were 515 and 730 but was looking for 630. We booked for 730. The following day I received a call from the oak table who gladly changed our reservation to 630. I was told they don't know why open table would only suggest those other two times. Guess it's may be an issue since they call to confirm reservations.
Oak Table- Will visit again
Open Table- I will use again but will follow up with a call to the restaurant before we go.

The food was a bit frustratingly slow as we had plans for afterwards, but once it arrived it was one of the best tasting meals I've had in a while. Oak Table always has the ability to surprise you with their recipes, but in this case it was a case of near flawless execution.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, complimentary valet was a nice, needed touch. The food was delicious and unique; the duck was phenomenal as well as the cauliflower sformato.
