The Oak Sevenoaks
We had Sunday roast and it was delicious but took a while to come! We did have a large table though. We ordered chicken and fries for our toddlers but it didn't come as expected. It came as a roast dinner. Luckily our kids ate it! All very tasty. We had to keep standing up to order drinks and ask for the dessert menu and kids ice creams. Guys we're friendly but service very, very slow and nobody came over to ask if we neeeded anything etc
Still would go back for Sunday roast but will ask for kids meal to come first due to the long wait.
Not very impressed with this restaurant. Ordered a child's chicken roast and it arrived all bloody on the inside - it was raw chicken! Returned it and they cooked another one for us which still had blood albeit dried blood. Just didn't eat it in the end. The other child ordered a hummus and pita with a side of crudité. The crudité never arrived, we had to ask for it. Although the staff was pleasant, I wouldn't return to this place and would not recommend it.
Awful experience. Walked in through side entrance waited to be seated for 15mins. Walked round the front to very busy bar area waited again only 2 members of staff seen behind bar no restaurant staff. We have been before for lunch and have enjoyed the food and service. Im lead to believe that they do not serve dinner although i was able to book a table for dinner for 2 but the lack of staff and no one else in restaurant eating leads me to believe dinner isnt an option i wasnt time and parking money on this place. If you dont serve dinner do not let people book for dinner!! Absolute joke.
Lovely evening at The Oak.
I have been here a few times for drinks but not for dinner.
Food was very pubby but what you would expect but great quality.
Service casual but attentive.
Will be back soon!
