   It would be nice to write a review of this restaurant as everything about it looked great: friendly staff, great location, interesting menu and beautiful ambience. Unfortunately OpenTable managed to book and confirm around 160 of us into the same evening, with disastrous results. The staff were charming and courtious in explaining how this site had let them down so badly. We will be back to check them out but we won't be doing it through OpenTable.

   BE WARNED. Open Table are taking online bookings for The Oak Brasserie in Leura, Blue Mountains, NSW, however despite confirming the booking online and apparently 4 other couples who had already turned up at the same time and date, they did not advise the restaurant of the bookings - it was fully booked, so they weren't able to give us a table. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING THROUGH OpenTable as they are clearly unprofessional and not following through on any Bookings made through them. The restaurant apologised for the lack of any knowledge of the booking - clearly OpenTable aren't servicing the online bookings made, nor advising the restaurant of bookings through the OpenTable website - exceedingly disappointing and such a time-waster.

   Do not book using open table. When we arrived at the restaurant they did not have a table for us. We were told it was above the waiter’s pay grade to resolve the booking problem.
