   We visited the North Folk before seeing Pollyanna and we were happy with everything. The owner was lovely and apologized for us having to wait a little bit. We made our reservation knowing we had a show to attend and it being a Friday night so we gave ourselves plenty of time. The food was great, portion size was perfect. I am sad to see this owner leave but happy to see the restaurant is staying open. Best of luck to the owner and his next adventure, I am glad we were able to make it in.

   I must admit, when we first walked in, I thought, oh no, where did I book! However, the service and food was great. They were very considerate to call us to advise us that they did have a private event later in the evening. Our reservation was at 7 and the private party was at 8:30. They were setting up during our meal but was not any bother. They weren't going to kick us out or anything but we were done anyhow. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Service attentive but not overbearing.

   I was not impressed by this restaurant at all. On entering the restaurant there was a strange smell. The restaurant was very quiet and there were a few people sitting at the bar. The bar tender was also the waiter and when I ordered a glass of pinot noir he brought pinot Grigio and told me that is what I had ordered, he did not offer to change it for me. The food was very average and it took quite a while to arrive. On leaving I went to the washroom which was disgusting, not clean, so I dread to think what the kitchen was like. I will not be going back to this restaurant again.

   Great service Food was excellent They called to confirm and ensured we were served in time to get to our play at Theatre Aquarius

   Food was very good and reasonably priced. Very short staffed so the service was lacking. Waiter tried very hard to do his best under the cercumstances.

   Made a reservation based off of other reviews. The restaurant was easy to find despite being in an area that doesn’t typically have a lot of foot traffic or other restaurants nearby. It was a slower night and I was a bit concerned when we were seated but our waiter was so friendly and attentive and gave us great recommendations. The food was fantastic! Our favourites were the bruschetta, North burger and steak and frites. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a casual night out with friends or family!

   Located in downtown core. We placed order for chicken fingers and fries and they had only blue cheese and ketchup as dipping sauces. Then came back to say they were. Out of chicken fingers. I ordered fish and chips came out without chips They brought out my wife order of chips since No chicken fingers. Definitely was not a great experience for dinner before our Event at First Ontario.

    The food is consistently excellent. The paella is my favourite but the steak frites was excellent too.
