   Fantastic restaurant- had a Vegetarian Sunday Roast, sadly though no cauliflower cheese (apparently it was too hot a day to make….! Not sure I understand the reasoning) The food we ate was very good, lovely atmosphere and excellent service!

   A really nice evening. The food and service was excellent. The location is lovely and we were delighted when the piano was played (superbly). There was no rush for us to leave the table and it made for a relaxing refined and enjoyable experience. It might be on the slightly pricier side but for a treat I would thoroughly recommend.

   I have to say I was disappointed that there were not more tables set up outside, and so we had to sit inside on a beautiful day!! Disappointed that they had no French Rose wine, so I had to have the whispering angel! The first glass had a foam on it, the second was better. We just felt the food was very flat and portions on the small side. Unfortunately I had brought my sister and her partner as we don’t see them often so felt very underwhelmed by the experience. Sorry we won’t be coming any time soon

   We have been to the nook several times since it opened. Sometimes it is good and sometimes not so good. Last night was a middle of the road experience, which needs to be better to justify the prices charged.

   Unfortunately the initial service was poor, taken to table and offered water for the table, 25 minutes later still no water or any further contact from the staff, but once another waiter came to us service improved Food was really nice but unfortunately the crab had a very large piece of shell (4cm in length), again after this was very nice Not quite the experience we expected for the price and not the experience we have received before here
