Join us for the very best of modern British dining looking out over Cheltenham's newest, iconic and timeless vista.

The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

Enjoy the ultimate Chef's Table experience with a 7 course Tasting Menu including wine pairing and interactions with our chefs about each course. Your group will be completely private from the restaurant so you can enjoy exclusive dining in our Private Dining Room with a recommended maximum of 10 guests. £1000 minimum spend required at the point of booking. We require at least 1 week's notice period. OpenTable does not enable us to monitor this. Therefore, if you are booking within this timeframe your booking may be cancelled and your £1000 deposit will be returned to you. Very friendly greeting on arrival and spectacular views. Service, food and drink were all excellent. Really knowledgeable staff gave terrific advice on food choices. You get what you pay for in life and paying for this experience was definitely worth it and one we would recommend.

Excellent meal, great views, great cocktails, great wine! We will definitely be coming back! We were well looked after buy our Italian waiter. Definitely a top pick restaurant in Cheltenham for us!

Such good food and service. It’s my third time and it just gets better every time. Only 1 thing possibly look at complimentary bread and butter. I was a little concerned about the price of 2 slices of bread & butter.

We all said we have had better afternoon teas else where. The scones were very dry. Although the waiting staff were helpful and accommodating . We had booked with the waiter on 6th March when we ate there in the evening, and booked for an Afternoon Tea for 19th April , to then be told by the head waiter we’d book wrong!!!!! When we arrived. -hello. We did pay the service charge as the waitress was lovely . But the afternoon tea could have been better!

As always, the food was perfection. Wonderful ambiance with the restaurant’s modern and sleek style, with the bonus of the tremendous views over Cheltenham. The restaurant waiting staff were truly wonderful… (as well as the maitre’d) - The only small negative being the time it took for most of our drinks to arrive… I suspect the bar staff were more interested in pandering to the whims of the girls sat around the bar area… It took our wonderful waitress to stand and wait for our drinks to be poured to ensure we received our drinks in any reasonable time. But overall, one of our favourite restaurants in Cheltenham. Not the cheapest, for sure - but worth it for a memorable evening. We shall return. 😊

Friendly attentive service. The breakfast selection and produce were of an excellent quality, the coffee was especially good and the breakfast tea was served in an ideal size pot. All this combined with the views over Cheltenham towards the Cotswold escarpment made for an ideal breakfast.
