Join us for the very best of modern British dining looking out over Cheltenham's newest, iconic and timeless vista.

The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

Celebrate Christmas Day with us at The Nook On Five. A Caviar reception and 6 course set menu with choices for starters, mains and desserts. Christmas day now has 3 sittings at 12pm, 13:30pm, 3:30pm and 5pm. 12pm and 13:30pm bookings will have a time limit on their tables for 2 hours 45minutes. After which you are more than welcome to stay at our bar and continue to enjoy your drinks. All Christmas Day bookings are to be paid no later than 8th December 2025. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements.

Amazing gem of a find in the local area to our hotel. Every food item was flawless, the drinks and wine, too and the service was prompt and professional. Will definitely go back

The food quality overall was good and in particular the cauliflower cheese! The pricing is comparatively high compared to similar quality restaurants in the area. Furthermore, the pricing on the day (22/6) was higher than the prices detailed on the website!

We went to The Nook for brunch on Father's Day. 3 vegetarians, two vegans and a 'normal person'! The food was fresh and tasty, service staff were friendly and attentive, coffee was great. The views are lovely and next time I will sit outside if it's warm enough. We came for brunch to accommodate the whole family, as veggie/vegan lunch and dinner menus are a bit limited to one choice. Highly recommend for a tasty brunch!

We came here for Breakfast with our two young children. Understand they don’t provide a children’s Menu, we ordered three things each off the ‘extras’. My first choice when ordering was not available, but I was only told whilst ordering. Our order was two coffees, two apple juices, three breakfast options and the extras for the girls. Our bill came to £93!!! The food was very average, which was so disappointing when they price their full English at £22!!!!!!!! The yogurt bowl had a huge lump of strawberry jam at the bottom which wasn’t particularly pleasant. I can’t say anything was particularly lovely. The two staff were friendly, but not really on top of it as had to wait 5 minutes to ask for a spoon for my yogurt after receiving my food and one of my daughters breakfast didn’t turn up until we asked where it was. We disappointingly will not be returning.

Specisl occasion so didn't mind the cost but check menu before booking cos our bill was £280 for 3 with very little alcohol and no coffees. Cant fault food or service but thought the price a little uppish even by todays standards

The service wasn’t great, it felt like they were rushing us the entire time. I asked for a water top-up and had to chase them three times.

The experience was second to none in every aspect. The afternoon tea was lovely and well presented, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Definitely recommend and will be using again.
