All patio reservations are weather permitting. If reserving an outdoor table, please be advised that we may not be able to accommodate you indoors in case of inclement weather. Please be sure to contact us in case of unexpected weather changes. We will seat a maximum of 6ppl indoors and 10 people per table indoors, but will accept larger groups in a section. We have limited larger tables to seat 10-12ppl. Please call us directly.

The Castlegar Golf Club, nestled in the majestic Selkirk mountains, provides a spectacular setting for a game of golf, a great meal and beverage or a social gathering. Open to the public whether golfing or not. Golfing? Grab a meal before or after your round, or a quick drink or snack at the turn, the Nineteenth is the perfect location.

Re-opened in April 2017 by local restauranteur Florio Vassilakakis with a fresh menu, name and look. We look forward to seeing you this season. Reservations for larger groups recommended.

We enjoyed our date night at the nineteenth! Food was delicious (chicken flatbread, poutine & nineteenth burger), the covered patio was clean and welcoming. We were happy to be able to watch the hockey game while enjoying our food and beverages as well. I would recommend you check out this restaurant if you are in the Castlegar area!

Flo was very patient with an add on to the Reservation by another diner (not me) and then the same diner rearranging tables. Thank you Flo for being so patient and accommodating.

Another fantastic meal at this gem. Today it’s very expensive to eat meals out but his is good food and is still at great price point just enjoy it!

The food and service is always great. Past experience has made me choose outdoor seating when making a reservation. Indoor is usually quite loud and a little too rowdy for us. Drunk golfers yelling is not a nice ambiance for a nice dinner. Outside is usually a lot better. Beer and ciders served in cans? I realize they need to have cans for the beer cart that serves out on the course. But a restaurant of this quality? I'd be happy to drink out of a can on the course, but in a restaurant I'd like a bottle please.

Thank you for the candid feedback. We truly appreciate reviews that give us things to consider. While we are a golf course restaurant, a significant number of our guests are non-golfers. Some days, especially during events, the atmosphere indoors can get lively and louder than usual, contributing to a fun, energetic vibe. We have recently added ceiling sound baffles to help dampen indoor noise, though our patio remains a guest favourite for its quieter setting and beautiful views. Regarding your comment on canned beer: we currently offer 3 draughts and 16 craft + import beers in cans. Most craft breweries no longer bottle beer, with only domestic brands like Molson, Bud doing so, though the bottled versions are more expensive. However, we always serve canned beers with a glass.

We enjoyed our meal, Melissa did a good job serving us. I really enjoy a large IPA, they only had the 355 small cans.

Food was delicious and portions were large. It was busy when we arrived so food was a bit slow coming out. Overall a good experience and we will be back.
