Food was delicious and so was the ambiance.
We hope that they change up their entrees every so often, not a lot to select from if you plan to dine there often. The panna cotta was absolutely delicious. We will return and recommend this restaurant to friends.

My wife and I had been planning a dinner at the Nightingale for some time. We finally got around to it and we weren’t disappointed. The food and cocktails were awesome and the services was the same.

We LOVE Nightingale for many reasons - the atmosphere, wine selection, great service, and food yet what happened to the one vegetarian pasta dish? During our most recent visit, our only choice was to omit meat from an entree - not one choice (other than pizza) for a vegetarian, much less a vegan. We had the delicious mushroom pizza and a pasta dish without the meat and it was bland - no flavor - probably because it was dependent on the flavor of the meat. We sure hope you put at least one meatless entree selection on your menu...please!!!

We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner celebration for our dear friends. The Nightingale really went above and beyond with the champagne and dessert! We appreciate how special they made our night.
And Rogelio knocked it out of the park with his great service.

Hostess, waitress, staff all around were friendly and inviting. Drinks were well mixed and flavorful. Appetizers were a good size and delicious. Pork chop entree was well cooked and tasted incredible. This will be a regular occurrence for me from now on. Make sure you make a reservation, as seating is limited and Nightingale is in high demand. It is worth the prices and it will make you want to come back.

Arrived at 620 for our 630 reservation to celebrate our anniversary and were seated at a nice table. Ordered entrees at 645 (pork chop for me, cioppino for my wife). Waiter rarely came by and entrees finally arrived at 735. Pork chop was great, but the plate was on the lighter side. Cioppino broth was delicious but it came with a few hunks of chorizo, three small shrimp, two clams and a couple mussels. Thank God for the bread or we would have hit a drive through on the way home. Looked for a manager to speak with on the way out, but found none. Between the poor service, small portions and the extreme delay in getting the food out, we won’t be back. Which is a shame, we are locals and love their other place, Goat and Vine. Anyway, if you’re going to spend money on a nice anniversary dinner, go to Southcoast Winery instead.

Amazing and consistent food and service. Very knowledgeable staff on food, wine and cocktails. Squid ink spaghetti is AMAZING! Beautifully decorated with a subtle elegant ambiance. Great for romantic date nights,large family gatherings or business functions. The live music by Colin Acda added the perfect touch to a great experience!

We had an almost perfect evening, celebrating our anniversary at The Nightingale 19JUL. The ambiance was appealing; the service was attentive and pleasant; and the food was mouth-watering. The one factor that had me give the experience 4-stars rather than 5 is the torturously uncomfortable metal chairs at the table. I was distractedly uncomfortable throughout the entire meal. With small, unpadded, round seats, the edge hit me mid-thigh and interfered with my circulation. I ended up adopting an immodest crossed-leg position to relieve the pressure. Truly, it over-shadowed my enjoyment of the evening.

A pleasant surprise tucked away on the edge of Old Town.

Everything was excellent -- food, service, ambiance. Hit the Happy Hour before dinner and I had an well-made cocktail and a half-dozen oyster, which were very good.

Dinner was excellent all-around. The beet salad and the short-rib pasta dish were top-notch.

We'll definitely return.

Service was great, the place, just like it's sister property, is SUPER noisy, there is nothing that absorbs all the noise, no rugs, no drapes, nothing,and the ceilings are at least 10 feet tall, so, you have to talk really loud to be heard. Food was excellent, except for my Halibut, which was over cooked to the point of being very dry and hard to swallow. I did provide the feedback to the server, hopefully she passed to the kitchen.

Not sure the food is worth what they are charging.

Over $50 for a piece of Filet Mignon and over $30 for a small piece of fish. Probably won't come back. We checked it off the list of "new" places in town and we will move on to others. Not a place we would be recurring clients to.

This was my first time there. I had the spare rib pappadore. It was amazing. Our server was very attentive, didn't have to wait for anything or was served to soon.
It was a great dining experience, I would recommend highly..

The Nightingale is one of my favorite dinner restaurants in all of Southern California and I love that they have seasonal changes to their menu. This time my husband and I had the new Alaskan Halibut and it was absolutely delicious and far and away the best halibut we have ever had! The rest of our meals were also wonderful including the new roasted asparagus! Service and ambiance were outstanding, as usual.

Love this place!! It's great to be able to enjoy fine dining in a beautiful envioronement with excellent service. While we love kids, it's also nice that this is more of an "adult", kid free, and classy environment.

I was so impressed with this restaurant. The Nightingale was truly modern and unique. The location is perfect for parking. My date and I enjoyed the cocktails, appetizers and our main course. The staff was very accommodating and professional. I have already recommended the Nightingale to several friends and family. I plan on going back as much as possible.

Really excellent food and great service. We had 2 appetizers, the pork and the short rib dinners. Everything tasted amazing!
Ambience was very nice overall. Unfortunately, the high ceilings result in a bit of an echo that made it a bit noisy.

We will definitely be back.

Really liked the food and ambiance. My only complaint would be seats at tables are not very comfortable. Although, I would go back. Would definitely recommend others to at least go for yourself and try.

Food was amazing! The porkchop was succulent, the chicken was moist and flavorful and the beet salad was superb. Disappointing was the delay in the delivery of the really tasty craft cocktails must have been a 20 minute wait for them to arrive. And the timing of the appetizers of oysters and clams and pizza bread was way off all coming out at different times. Timing of food in general was not as good as expected for a restaurant of this quality. But the quality of food was divine and I will try again.

My wife and I visited for the first time on our wedding anniversary. The service was excellent, the food was great but the portions could have been better. My wife ordered the filet mignon which came with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed carrots. She loved her meal but the art of the plating left a shortage of potatoes, it was more of a potato taster spread than an enjoyable side dish and could have been better proportioned to match the size of the filet. I had the short rib pasta which was excellent but again, could have been a larger portion. They brought us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was very thoughtful and appreciative. We’ll be back.

Wednesday night. Work celebration dinner for my team. They had a 25 top walk in and in sunk the whole shift. 1:20 ticket time for our food. I have never waited longer for food in my life. Got so bad the server avoided our table, b/c she was embarrassed. We felt bad for her, was not her fault. Supervisor did her best to apologize, took care of apps and dessert.

One GM splitting time between here and Goat and Vine is not enough management coverage. Ownership has this restaurant drastically understaffed. They need to hire more management, invest in the business . They need to hire more BOH staff. The need to staff the restaurant for the business they want, not the business they have. Good quality food, nice looking design, absentee ownership is glaring

This is one of the best, if not the best, dinners in the Temecula Valley. Starting with the beautiful interior, going into the wine list and cocktails, the service, and of course culminating with Chef Brian's masterful work in the kitchen. An all around fantastic restaurant that would easily hold its own in Los Angeles or San Diego. SO NICE to have this in Temecula!
