    Tried the new 4 course option - it was unbelievably good. Standouts were the Hake and the Apple soufflé. However, everything was incredible. Will definitely be back.

    Overall a fabulous experience food amazing however on arrival whilst waiting to be taken to our table we stood for a while waiting to order drinks and were not acknowledged by the bar staff. Other than that a fabulous night.

    We had lunch in the restaurant on the first day of the new 4 course tasting menu and both the food and presentation were fantastic. Lunch also included snacks (4 canapés each) which were tasty morsels and set the scene for what was to come.

    Tasting menu was very good. Interesting dishes nicely presented. The meal was let down by the drinks service which was very slow and also inaccurate. Of the first four drinks, three were incorrect. Replacements were slow so aperitifes did not arrive until after the food.

    A Beautiful setting with helpful and perceptive staff. The market place menu is excellent value and always has new and exciting flavours to discover. We are so lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre on our doorstep

    We decided to use our voucher last minute and so glad we did. We had the market menu and it was delicious, lovely celebration surprise at the end of our meal and the staff there were brilliant. So knowledgable and friendly. Will be back xx

    Beautiful food in lovely surroundings. The view of the Tay from the restaurant is stunning. The staff members are charming, professional and knowledgeable. The five course tasting menu is excellent and the choice of wine is very good.

    We had an evening to remember - delicious food, a glass of fizz to welcome us back as we had not been there for a while - staff could not have been more helpful. Wonderful table with view of the Tay and across to the Dundee night lights. It was a lovely time with my nearly 90 year old father, sister up from London and one of my son's and my partner. Highly recommend and thank you all for making us feel so welcome with wonderful ambience. Thank you also for your generous support for the charity event I am organising in aid of the Ukraine. See you again soon.

    Overall a nice lunch in a lovely setting. Our issues were having to wait 25 mins for cocktails at start of our meal which we felt was too long - suspect was due to fact the lower level of the restaurant was very busy. We were upstairs. There was only one bottle of Rose wine available & the Red we chose only had one bottle also! Our main courses were luke-warm. We only had one server in our area, I think our dishes may have sat for several minutes before being brought to the table. A couple of our party had the beef which was a little chewy in places. Otherwise the food quality was very good. We have eaten here a number of times so were disappointed. I would add we did not complain about the time delay for drinks or food temperature.

    Pleasant server but could be difficult to make out what was being said when dishes were introduced. Although there were other diners in there was a very hushed feeling in the restaurant. It was real surprise when we were on the way out to hear the noise and enjoy the vibe from the downstairs restaurant which felt much more relaxed and unrestrained. Lovely views from our table upstairs and most of the courses we enjoyed - we had the 5 course tasting menu. Highlights were the Barlancini, Pittormie Courgette and the Pork Belly, with the sauce that went with that course a delight.

    Excellent position overlooking Firth of Tay. Well presented dishes with each ingredient complementing one another. Full of taste, each a work of art. Best dish/taste: mackerel and seaweed tartlet from starter! Don’t be mean, go for a tasting menu. Wines reasonably priced

    First time visit, the food was excellent and well presented. The staff were friendly and atmosphere was great. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Did I say the food was excellent!! We will be back.

    Had the market menus and optional cheese board for two at lunchtime today. Waitresses were very attentive but not overpowering and we enjoyed excellent food seated at a table by the window overlooking the Tay. This was truly a fantastic experience which we will definitely repeat in the future.

    The whole experience from arrival to departure was a joy. All the staff were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The food was second to none, well presented and full of bursts of taste. The view from the window table was amazing. We will certainly be visiting again.

    The 8 course tasting menu did not disappoint. The snacks were superb & I loved the Ardnamurchan Scallop but the whole meal was absolutely fabulous. The staff were all lovely, friendly & knowledgeable.

    We enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, which dazzles with an exceptional attention to detail -- right down to the selection to the accompany butters and oils for the delicious bread and extraordinary amuse-bouches!     We had the best tasting menu dining experience near the heart of Dundee. From the moment you step in, you are treated to a symphony of flavors, sights, and sounds that epitomize the rich Scottish culinary heritage. Each dish, meticulously crafted, speaks volumes about the chef's dedication to excellence and innovation. The staff are both attentive and knowledgeable, elevating the overall experience. The ambiance strikes the right balance between elegance and comfort, complemented by breathtaking views. A must-visit for anyone in or near Dundee; a dining delight that shouldn't be missed! Probably had the best scallop ever, with 4 different type of turnip preparations!! All dishes we a creative play on food that i've had before, but never in this way. Highly recommend.

    What a beautiful, beautiful spot and restaurant! We loved the interieur. WoW! The view is extra ordinary. We had the 3 course menu and that was excellent and authentic. Even our children ate everything untill the last crumble. The waiters were distant, that could be better. There was no attention for the wine or water.
