My friends and I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere when looking to watch a game. I went to the bar to have a late lunch and some drinks. Keith recommended the best Special Mac N Cheese he was very friendly. Had some drinks at the bar and the staff was friendly and full knowledge of the beers. Great place to go pre or post theater shows. I look forward to going back.
The food was good and came fast. The server was polite. The wine was alittle over priced for the amount. Beer was fine. It was clean. Good place overall.
I suppose this is typical for midtown, but this was overpriced and underwhelming.
Delicious food. After work crowd. Pricey and very loud. Our waitress was amazing. Drinks were a little slow arriving but food was speedy enough to get us out. The door to a show on time.
All the FOH staff were great. They were personable, accommodating, and attentive. 10 stars for them!! We only stayed for a drink and an app. The only reason was because of the prices ... even by NYC standards they’re insane. Almost nothing on the menu is under $15 and almost every beer is $8 (or more). You can find the same food, beer, experience downtown for half the price. Sorry :(
Sunday morning brunch was awesome for our group of 10. Quiet, wonderful brunch menu. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese balls and cheese biscuit Benedict. Will be back!
Food was good and they offered bottomless brunch for an additional $24. Drinks were small and the waitress was very slow with service even though there were no other tables of diners yet. It seemed like she was intentionally going slow so that we could not get our moneys worth of bottomless drinks.
Advertised as sports venue but TVs were tiny and portly places. We had a group of 13 and couldn’t really watch the NFL playoff game we went there for. Advertising is not accurate and the food was mediocre.
Energetic atmosphere during the NFL playoffs. Excellent selection of New York beers and others. Wished more beer was available via draft, as a lot of the great selection was cans/bottles.
Service was fantastic. Really attentive servers and food came out quickly, despite a good crowd for football.
Prices were reasonable for the location.
Selected restaurant in order to watch the game during dinner. Great place to watch a game. Everyone in our party of 6 loved the food and wants to go back!
Sunday brunch was very quiet at 11am, so talking was easy. Have been there for weekend dinner and it’s much noisier, but the food, drinks, ambiance and service are always great no matter the day or time. Great value, always recommend and will always go back.
Truly noisy, but authentic. French fries were burnt, so the bacons.
Waitress disappeared numerous times, didn’t take our drink order until after our food order- and we had to ask for the drink menu, no silverware, I got up for napkins and hot sauce- food was basic, totally regret going here.
Should have just went to pizza.
The only good thing is that they have Six Point Brewery- Resin on draft.
Excellent food, quick and friendly service. Pub atmosphere, but family appropriate.
I was with a larger group. Overall the place was nice - my food came out incorrectly twice and well after others food had arrived (people were done eating when mine finally came correctly). I’m not one to let that stuff bother me, but you’d think at the very least they’d comp the sandwich.
Good atmosphere. Great beer menu.
Food was good, not great. Good place to get together with friends
Very slow service. Pricey.
Nice server and good food.
Great service and good food with a big group including 6 little kids.
It was great food and service! It was our daughters birthday and they comped a special treat for her, so sweet!
Family meet-up in NYC for the holiday. Worked out great on short notice......
Go when it is group of loud people they'll enjoy the food and the surroundings
The food was good, our waiter was friendly. The beer list was extensive. The place was clean. It was family friendly and I would recommend this place
Great place. I ordered the tomato beer soup and it was luke warm. My husband had the French onion soup and it was amazing! However, had great customer service and they replaced it immediately. The atmosphere was semi crowded but at the same time the noise level wasn’t as loud. Which was just right. Wish I wasn’t full from brunch otherwise I’d try a full on meal. The hamburgers looked wonderful! I’d definitely go back again!
Pre theater dinner....had a reservation, arrived early and was welcomed by hostesses with open arms. Seated right away. Outstanding beer selection, simple menu with good options. Service from order to receiving drinks and food was timely. A great idea for a bite or drink before or after theater. Would recommend for larger groups.
Sports bar - nothing special. Food and atmosphere is as expected at a sports bar.
Good beer, food fine and very good service.
Food was awful, service mediocre, ambience was okay.
We were very happy with this choice. The only issue is the tv's blaring sports when we would have preferred music.
Absolutely awful! Terrible experience! Would never go back or recommend to anyone. Extremely disappointing. It actually ruined our whole evening. I had made sure to call in advance to make sure there was a kids menu. I was told yes when I booked a reservation. When my party of 11 got there we were told they just “ discontinued” the menu that day.
The food was average. The service was average. The value was average. Honestly we were a bit disappointed because the other reviews were so stellar. We did get a seat by the window and that was better than average. The hostess was very pleasant.
Good bar food. Good service. Beer stock exchange is fun to watch.
The place itself was exactly what we had hoped for - a nice, low-stress location for a post-marathon congratulations party. The restaurant was very accommodating to us and I appreciate their efforts to make our celebration a pleasant one. I would certainly book there again!
Came here for a quick bite to eat before a 7PM curtain, very good food although would have preferred to have more soup and salad options.
Our server was very good. Very attentive. Tots & chicken bites were very good as appetizers. Burgers were rather dry & overcooked compared to how they were ordered. Beer selection was great! Atmosphere was fun, as usual!
The forks and napkins were extremely dirty.
If you are looking for a sports bar with some of the best beers on TAP this is your place. It is near Time Square, great food, a lot of TV's for Sports! I look forward to coming back here.
I've had better burgers in NYC and better fries, but there was certainly nothing wrong with NYBC. The beer selection is great and the prices, for NYC, are on the more affordable side (cheeseburger was $16, beer was $8). The location was a factor in our selection, since we got off the A train at 42nd and 8th and had theater tickets on 48th St, so 44th and 8th was right on the way. Would definitely go back.
