Although our 1st visit, a truly popular spot (can see why) nice ambience in this place, the bartender Zach saved this feedback from being more negative- keep him, he'll make you money. 4 Hostesses greeted us, with less than excitement, and a very stoic solemn greeting, we were 1 hr. early an without hesitation, we were told to go to the bar, well come get you- which they didn't, I had to follow-up 2x and was then texted my table was ready after we sat down. In all, outdoor seating was cramp and awkward, but we made the most a beauty of night in Boston, meals were missed timed, 2 seafood dishes- 15 min apart, mine was cold as I waited for my wife's meal to show up- need to be better than that to keep a ppl coming.

The chef/owner is the son of my dental hygienist of years ago. I just learned about the restaurant recently and tried to get into the one in Nantucket but no reservations available. I took a chance and booked this one for an evening during a weekend meetup with old friends. We all wondered at the menu but were very pleased. Great food, great setting, great service. We’ll be back

Typical Seaport restaurant with typical Seaport prices. They took regular Chinese food that you can get in many cases much better quality or the same quality at a quarter of the price. The duck is not worth it. If you are expecting a Peking duck with crispy skin and rich flavorful meat that is not what you will get. 1/2 of the duck is nicely flavored soggy skin. The other half of the duck is this weird overly fried duck meat that is oddly stringy. They provide you with rice, which is very strange for a Peking duck experience but OK. It was not worth a $138 that it cost. You would be better served heading to Chinatown and spending $60 on a full duck. The barbecue pork belly steamed buns are not worth it I expected warm fluffy steam buns that they made instead I’m pretty sure I got reheated frozen buns The highlight of the meal was the dandan noodles. Excellent flavor and excellent noodle chewiness. The other things like the daikon radish pale in comparison to what you will find in your typical dim sum restaurant. The Shishido peppers are nice, but not worth the cost. The Thai chili fish was very delicious, but also not worth the price. Overall, I would not recommend going to this restaurant. The prices are very high for what you get. And oddly enough for such an expensive restaurant they give you the cheap bamboo chopsticks that you get with any Chinese takeout place even a panda express. Inside the restaurant is nice enough, but very cramped. And it can get quite loud so conversations for a larger group maybe difficult it might be a place if you are very curious about it to check out once I won’t be going again the food was good enough, but not worth the price

The food was delicious. Everything was uniquely plated and designed. Cocktails were strong and delicious. I do feel like we were maybe encouraged to over order and we found ourselves full well before our last two dishes appeared. The service was a little spotty at the counter as it felt like maybe our waitress had other tables elsewhere and she may have forgotten about us. Not her fault, but maybe a staffing issue. I find myself being a little more critical of things like this when I’m paying top dollar, but overall experience was great. I would definitely go back and probably just order less. I would probably also do a regular table or regular bar seat.

Shocked at the service and mediocre food after reviews we had heard. I was out to dinner with a girlfriend and had lots to catch up on. We were rushed throughout our entire dinner. There were two of us dining at a very small table, with several open tables all night. I was confused why the staff kept coming over to ask if we were finished. We ordered 6 items from the menu and had 3 drinks each, so we weren’t holding up a table or waitress in any way. They asked to box up our food when we were still actively eating. We were planning on having a dessert and espresso martinis to end our dinner, but the waitress brought over our check without even checking in to ask if we wanted anything else. I was appalled by the service and disappointed in the location. Would not recommend if you are not looking to be in and out in 45 minutes.

I came to Nautilus Pier 4 on Saturday with my girlfriend during a little weekend trip from New Jersey, and we had Jonathan as our waiter—he was fantastic. Everything he recommended was on point, and he even described the flavors so well it felt like a food trailer for each dish. He mentioned the Peking duck, and it sounded so good that I came back the very next day with my cousin visiting from Poland and his friend just to try it. It was absolutely worth the double visit. I even asked if we could have Jonathan again—and we did. If he’s your waiter, you’re in very good hands. Highly recommend!
