The National Café came up trumps for a quick business lunch near Trafalgar Square. Service was extremely efficient and courteous, especially impressive as we needed to eat early and quickly. Menu is limited, but the dishes ordered were very flavoursome. Two or three course options are available. Ambience is fresh and lively but not noisy, with comfortable seats and the tables well-spaced.

I am a regular customer and have recommended the NG Cafe to my friends and family many times. The food is reliable, the atmosphere has a low key buzz so that conversation is not impeded and the service is always friendly and polite. The perfect pit-stop for a culture day out.

The advertised menu (brunch, salads & sandwiches) was no longer available, forcing us to have a set 2-course meal which they struggled to serve in the tome we had available.

Good as ever. A favourite lunch place between exhibitions.
