The Nashville Taphouse
Arrived at the restaurant and was ignored by the hostess. Her coworker had to ask her to attend to us. Waiter was not attentive. Food was ok, wasn’t cold but not worth the price. Decent place. Would not repeat.
Excellent food and excellent service by Garrett! My wife and I enjoyed the food and especially our conversation with our waiter Garrett. Personable, super helpful with our questions regarding Nashville. Truly a pleasure! My wife and I are different in that we enjoy conversing with our waiters.
Kirk was awesome! We had a party of 17 and he took care of our birthday party with a smile!
My husband and daughter enjoyed a quiet meal on a snowy, icy evening. We were one table of a few due to the inclement weather. The wait staff was very attentive and took care of our every wish. Grilled salmon over super salad was excellent. My daughter enjoyed the Cobb salad and my husband loved the Club Sandwich.
We will make a point to eat at Champions on our next trip out of Nashville Airport.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and Steven was a fantastic, friendly server!
Lunch with our family for Christmas, very relaxed and quiet. The Titans game was on so the guys enjoyed watching. All was really good, food was a little slow to arrive, but the service was top notch.
Boom boom shrimp taste great
Staff were friendly and accommodating for our family group. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with nice decor. The food was good and I would recommend the meatloaf (great comfort food).
Seafood gumbo was outstanding!
Celebrating a birthday and watching the Titans in the playoffs. We had a wonderful time. atmosphere was great, food was good and our waiter Garrett was Great.
You must try the She Crab Soup. It’s great
Have been a patron for over 20 years and will continue for another 20. Food and service exceptional!
Server Zach was great! She Crab Soup is some of the most tasty I’ve ever had!
Food was fantastic. Service was the worst. Staff wasn't friendly and didn't check to see if we needed anything. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
We had a large party so we had a reservation. They were ready even though a few of us arrived early. We had a seperate area close to the buffet which was great - we work in an office close by and some had to leave early so the buffet was a great choice. The staff was super-friendly, efficent and accommodating and the food was good - there were plenty of options for all. A great place for a work lunch.
I love this restaurant. The food is good the prices are good and the setting is good.
Champions was just okay. I excepted different considering the price and the name. Service was kind of slow especially considering it wasn’t busy at all. Our server changed and we didn’t even know until a new guy came to our table. The food was okay but definitely not worth what your paying.
We chose Champions at the Marriott because of its location and menu. After driving 150 miles (in the rain), we wanted a nice quiet relaxing dinner before a later concert. The experience was anything but quiet !! A manager and several staff proceeded to move tables out and noisily set up long folding tables no more than 15 feet away from where we were seated, totally oblivious us. There were other diners there but were seated further away from the noise. I asked our waiter if something could be done and he immediately spoke to the manager which stopped the activity temporarily. We received a lame apology as we left.
It appeared it was more important to set up for a Mother’s Day brunch 16 hours in the future than a customer’s dining experience.
I love this restaurant every time I go. The food is always good and I love the atmosphere.
Really good food and good service. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Nashville.
Nice selection of local craft beers - and they let you do flights!
Turkey burger was moist and flavorful.
Salad with grilled chicken was very good.
Not many TVs where we were seated for a sports bar restaurant
Lunch buffet is a great value & plentiful selection. Service is exemplary from the host, server, pasta chef & manager. TV at every booth with full DirecTV package allows even more choice.
Nice place, best French onion soup I've ever had! Excellent hotel restaurant.
Great food and awesome atmosphere!!!
Enjoyed dining at Champions. Food, service, and ambience was great!
Service was outstanding. All of the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Lunch buffet is great, especially the pasta bar. But a little pricey.
Rub eye Steak is why I’ll come back
Once again Sunday morning brunch at Champions was a delight! My omelet was huge, plenty of bacon, the roast beef was just right, the fruit was ripe, sweet, and delicious. This is my favorite place to come for Sunday morning brunch. The staff never fails. They raise rates for some special days, like Mother's Day. But for Father's Day rates were the same, not many people present. It all added up to a great start of Father's Day. I recommend Champions Brunch on Sunday mornings. Lots of food, many decisions, all good!
No vegetarian options except for chips and dip. No blinds or shades on the window facing sunset meant the sun was shining into our eyes. Meals were very slow to get to the table. Limited beers.
Does the trick! We stayed at this Nashville Airport Marriot for one night at the beginning of our Nashville vacation and one night at the end, when we had to fly out on a 6:am flight. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise with a good selection of options and better food and service than one normally expects at an airport hotel. We had the buffet breakfast on our first stay and it was great! Lots of good choices, both healthy and indulgent (great biscuits!), and we appreciated the option to have a custom made omelet. We tried dinner on our second stay and were also pleased. The room is attractive, our booth was roomy and comfortable, the service was nice, and the quality of our simple meal was pleasing. The three of us shared the chicken wings to start, and I had the brown rice bowl with chicken, black beans, avocado, and pico de gallo and it was tasty and healthy. My husband and son both had burgers, and gave them a thumbs up. We had a nice bottle of wine and got out of there for under $100 bucks. I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat there if we lived in Nashville, but we were very happy with the experience as travelers staying there on our way in and and out of town.
Service is decent. Atmosphere is great. Crab soup is amazing!!
Sunday buffet brunch was good. Lunch and breakfast items with lots of choices and an omelet/waffle station.
Thanksgiving ham, turkey, and salad were delicious! Veggies were just okay and not very warm. Service was excellent, but price is too high for what you got!!
Our server was the only saving grace to this experience. Food quality was all over the place. She crab soup was good, hot chicken over cooked, mahi mahi was not good.
Food took forever to come out of the kitchen.
Service was very accommodating, Ron did a great job of explaining the menu options and looked after our every need. The meatloaf was very good. We enjoyed the boom boom shrimp appetizer before dinner. The shrimp pasta was ok, but not great.
When our server first introduced herself, she said she was new...However, my boyfriend and I frequently visit Champions and she was our server the last two times... *awkward*
Why lie?...because she is a horrible server... each time. Great place though.
We really enjoyed the big tower of appetizers, and our server was excellent.
Really great food! We were very impressed. Service was very attentive.
Best crab cakes! Nice staff. We eat at Champions as often as possible & highly recommend it. Nice wine list, too.
The mothers enjoyed it for Mother's Day. We were out of options, and I was very glad to run on this find.
