Brunch: Saturday - Sunday: 11:00am - 2:00pm
The food was pretty good but the price was slightly expensive, and, too bad the nashbrown was sold out and didn't get a chance to try it
We went for lunch and overall, the food was good; however, our server two of our side orders wrong. We ended up just eating the sides that came because we didn’t want to wait longer and our server did not return after our entrees arrived. We also had to ask twice for the same thing because it was so busy at the restaurant.
We had to wait 35 mins past our reservation to be seated at our table. The service was slow and the food was not as good as usual. Both of our dishes, the vegetables were under cook. While there is some variety to the menu, it’s not cohesive. There are some odd items on the menu that are not in keeping with the restaurant style.
Started off for lunch with 5 work colleagues, ended up just doing apples and drinks all afternoon. Accommodated us at a table for supper, all had the wagyu striploin, absolutely stunning, creme brûlée for dessert, again outstanding. Moved into off cut bar area, but more lively and ended the evening there, changed staff 3 times and all of them were knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely going back.
I left hungry. Prices are high portions are very small
I'm an out of towner from Toronto and I must say the place was a gem, had a high class image with a hip personality. The food was spectatcular, the service was remarkable and the music was at a perfect volume to either conversate or celebrate. Five stars hands down. Thank you for a memorable experience in Calgary!
We really enjoyed our brunch. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive but not overly.
All 6 of us were happy with the food although the burger was a bit drippy when biting into it. The eggs Benedict was delicious with salmon.
We would definetly go again,
We went for a birthday dinner as a family - the ambience was excellent, love the feel of the restaurant. There were several Christmas parties going on, but they had it set up to not feel like you were sitting on the fringe of someone's party. The server was excellent, and the food was amazing, a memorable evening for my family.
Only downside was that it was very loud!
Great place with great food. Outstanding Fresh seafood. Service was slow on a Saturday noon time although the place was half empty.
Great as always
Best Service and good in Calgary!
Food was decent. Service was ok. They were out of the beer I ordered but was recommended an alternative. Very slow to get the bill when. We clearly had empty plates and glasses and we're ready to leave but were held hostage waiting for the bill
Food was great service is on slow side, so if you trying to go for a quick lunch meeting... plan for a longer time allotment
We had the best service and our food was fantastic. Best I have had a in a long time when dining out.
It was excellent. We had our staff party and everybody enjoyed their meal. Late for filled some special requests regarding food preferences and everybody enjoyed their meals. One of my favourite places.
Everything was awesome but it took us 15min (& me asking) for service.
Great experience as is usual here!
Such a great evening. Their wine list is exceptional and the service was amazing.
Took my gal there. The food and the service was amazing!!!
I have been wanting to come here for some time and finally made it and was 100% not disappointed! Service, variety, food, presentation it was all amazing! The scallops with pork belly appetizer were my favourite. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menus. The only thing that wasn’t our favourite was the apple tart for dessert. It was fairly noisy but the tables were far enough apart it didn’t seem to bother us trying to chat. We will be back for sure!
Food and service were great. Busy for a Wednesday night. My only complaint was the wobbly table which should not be in a high end restaurant. Duck was fabulous!!
Pastrami sandwich was terrible, dry and no taste. For $21 was not worth $5
The Nash is our go-to place for business and personal dining when we’re in Calgary. No need to try anything else.
While we have always had a good experience at the Nash I don’t think we will return after this last one. It took 25 minutes to get a drink, and that was only after we flagged down another server to take our order. Waiting to order again took a long time. It was an hour after we had been seated that we got our food. The appetizers arrived with our meals. Had it been a busy night I would have understood the slow service, but it wasn’t busy - our waitress just didn’t seem to care.
Our experience was excellent, as always. The service and food were outstanding. The restaurant itself is quite friendly and comfortable.
The Salt Springs Island Mussels with Curry sauce were amazing this time. The eggs benny were also very good. Probably our favourite brunch spot in YYC.
This was our first time to the Nash and we were pleased upon entering as it had a very modern yet warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our drinks were spot on and hit the spot while we were waiting for our appetizers.
We started with a tuna appy and the Scallop/pork belly appetizer. I have to admit that the scallop appetizer was absolutely phenomenal. Slightly pricey but this was to be expected. (26$ for 2 scallops)
We had a slight chill in our sating area (likely to compensate for the beautiful roaring fireplace) so we ordered a French press of coffee which was very good.
We both ordered the a we had a slight chill in the Maria so we ordered a French press of coffee which was very good.
We both ordered the 10oz flat iron steak. This came out cooked to perfection with a nice assortment of root veggies and potatoes. Both my wife and I noted that there was a heavy presence of salt on the meat. This was almost to the point of us returning the steaks but when strategically mailed it with all of the sides it became bearable. But sometimes you just wanna a bite of meat LOL not have to think of the strategy to eat it.
We ended our meal with two desserts. The key lime/meringue semifreddo dessert was slightly too tart but still enjoyable while the Chocolate tart was a little less sweet than expected but enjoyable especially if you prefer your desserts a little bit on the less sweet side (which I do not).
Our Server Niki was great. Although busy she managed Her tables in an appropriate time which made our dinner more enjoyable. She is an asset to the team.
The Nash is one of my favorite spots for brunch - was the perfect spot to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday! He doesn't usually have much of an opinion when it comes to food but he really enjoyed his hotel breakfast with a medium cooked steak and the cinnamon bun we ordered for the table to share. Everything about our visit was perfect with the exception of the wait time for our food; understandable, as there was a baby shower being hosted there. Would have appreciated our server checking in on us from time to time or to give us an update but overall the experience was great!
Great place. Great food. Great service! It was busy but still easy to hear each other.
Amazing food and amazing service. Would recommend the flank steak and the feature cocktail the quarter-horse.
Great like always!!!! This is one of our favourite places. From family to work dinners. Love it here!
Awesome as always!
Remarkable meal! We came for an after work meal and realized the prices were a little higher than we expected but the food was more than worth it.
I'm craving the rotisserie chicken again today.
Great food and great atmosphere. Unfortunately I felt that as soon as we paid our bill, we were abandoned by our server even though we hung out talking at the table for over 45 minutes. I would have appreciated an offer of coffee or even a glass of water - especially after paying $400 for the meal. The server was friendly and helpful, up until we paid the bill and then we never saw her again. And it wasn't that busy by that time of night. Also the bartender earlier in the evening went cold when we asked to have our bar tab put over to our dinner bill, even though he actually suggested it. Friendly up to that point, and then a notable chill. Not sure I would go back myself unless I could be assured that the service was actually honest and genuine. When you are spending what I think is a tremendous amount of money on an evening out with friends, it should be actually worth it versus just hosting at home.
Had lunch at Nash yesterday. Delightful atmosphere. Busy and bustling, great service, great food! Nice choices on the menu. Excellent wines.
We sat at the bar right infront of the grill, what an experience. Definitely some heat from the grill but interaction with the chef and watching everything coming together was so engaging. The service was superb and pomme puree could be pretty addicting.
Amazing food and service!!
THE NASH CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WE WERNT DISAPPOINTED.
Had an awesome dinner for my wife’s birthday....Love sitting up at the kitchen bar watching the action!
