Had an incredible Sunday night Dinner at Nash. The Food and Mikes Service are among the best in town. No detail was missed. The quality of food and beverage was exception even with one of the guests having a gluten allergy. Thank you Nash, Thank you Mike
Great service and food was excellent as always
Food was so amazing! One of the best meals we’ve ever had.
Great Food love the Sunday family Dining option. Our Waiter was great!
Went for a late Valentine’s supper with my boyfriend. Food and drinks where excellent. We had a late reservation but our waiter was fantastic. I believe his name is Micheal. I highly recommend the roast chicken.
It was our first time there... we will definitely be back!
The hostess was as charming as a block of ice and the wine sales took priority over refilling water glasses. Other than that, it was an enjoyable evening.
The food and service was good, but the prices were high. Good to try but probably won't be back in the near future.
I love the Nash. The menu is a bit different and I do find it pretty pricey, but for a special occasion lunch we really do enjoy it.
Our meal was perfect and the service was spot on, we will definitely be back!
We had a lovely dinner in a restaurant we hadn’t been to before. It was an enjoyable experience.
I have been to The Nash several times as I live in Inglewood and it is close. The food has always been great, the staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful. I really like that I can get a pint of Cold Garden from the micro brewery down the street.
Great food and excellent service from knowledgeable service staff. Only complaint would be they should offer more choices of after dinner coffee and served in a cup/ saucer NOT in a mug which one would associate more with a cheap highway diner.
Our table wasn't ready when we arrived even though we had a later seating. The hostess was really accommodating in keeping us updated and also offering us alternative seating. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Food came out fairly quickly. It was delicious. Will definitely come again.
Good food, carrot cake was a particularly wonderful find. Lively but overly noisy ambiance.
The food was great. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful finish to the evening with my wife.
The two starters where great! Josper Roasted Prawns and Saltspring Island Mussels and Frits. The thai red curry and coconut broth where delicious! The Charcoal grilled pork chop was a great choice. Very moist and tender. I was a disappointed with the meat of the rotisserie - found it rather chewy.
My husband and I decided to try the Nash out after hearing really great things, so we thought we would venture over and give it a try. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. Not too casual but not stuffy. Let me also say that all our food was wonderful, and so were the cocktails.
However, my issue was with the service (of which i did vocalize to the hostess when i left). I had a 5:30 reservation and from the moment i sat down I was reminded repeatedly about how there was another reso after us at 7:15. We hadn't even received our drinks yet and when we said we were sure what we wanted for dinner yet the server said " that brings me to my next point, i have another reservation at 7:15 so we need to make sure we keep things moving". This happened numerous times in the meal, and even when I was brought the dessert menu. I fully understand that you have reservations at different times through a night, and that is the restaurants job to manage tables turning over and making bookings, not the customer. For me, I had made a reservation, I wasn't just a "walk in" and pre-warned that we would have to be out, because if that was the case it would be fully understandable. My frustration is that I planned a night out, got a babysitter, and was looking forward to a nice dinner, only to be repeatedly reminded about other reservations in the night after ours, and rushed through our meal. I never had the opportunity to have a second glass of wine or dessert because or our server trying to push us out.
Overall, I do think the restaurant has a great location, atmosphere, and the food was nice. There are just some major flaws that would prevent me from going back or ever referring a friend there in the future.
It was me and my wife’s first visi to Nash. Great ambiance, chic and elegant crowd. Noisy a bit but considering the number of people it seemed normal. The menu specially appetizers are limited. All have cheese inside, so if you have restrictions, cant have appies. We ordered steak which was tasty. Wine was ok but I expected to see the bottle, and to have it poured in front of me at the table so I can confirm my choice. Overall is great dining spot in Calgary which we have been missing, for sure will go back.
Enjoyed our lunch, food was great! Would have been even better if it wasn't so warm - we were sitting at a table located by a south facing window. Sun was very hot through the window. We tried to pull the blinds together to reduce the direct sunlight but the design of the curtains does not allow them to be pulled together.
Service by Tieghan was excellent very attentive.
Quarter chicken and greens was very generous portion for lunch and cook on the chicken perfectly moist hint of rose. Grilled prawns (4) on a cassoulet of white beans starter was filling enough for a main lunch for my wife, excellent flavours and bit of heat in the cassoulet. Always satisfied having lunch here.
My fiancee and I went to The Nash to celebrate our anniversary. The wonderful smells eminating from the restaurant had piqued our interest well before our date, so we decided to check it out.
The ambiance was very cozy and immediately we were greated, had our coats checked and shown to our table. Our server was very kind and attentive and always had a smile when approaching our table.
Our appetizers were quite delicious. If you're a fan of seafood, we highly recommend the grilled squid with the chirizo and chickpeas. I could eat that all day! For our mains, we had the lamb shank and the lamb roast. Which was delicious BUT, my only qualm was that the braise as well as my carrot puree was extremely salty. The perfectly cooked vegetables cut out the saltiness, but once they were gone it was just us against the salt.
For dessert, we chose the apple caramel with bourbon snow and OH GOD was it good.
I would highly recommend the reataurant, but i would try another main off the menu. Hopefully with less salt.
Overall, highly recommend!
Excellent food and attentive service!
Greta food, service and overall evening.
Great easy to find location with lots of parking on the west side of the building or on the street. Great lounge and open restaurant area with lots of natural light from the windows down the north wall. Food is very good, fresh and tasty, with great presentation.
Amazing food with excellent service and beautiful decor
The Nash has a wonderful ambience but first impressions weren't good as the hostess denied our reservation. But our server was personable, knowledgeable, and very friendly - he made the evening. The fries and potato rolls were overdone, surprisingly, but the pasta was lovely. Rabbit terrine rather flavourless but moules were delicious and cooked to perfection. A super cocktails list and exciting menu choices, warm ambience, and lovely wait staff make this a good choice for informal dining. Don't take your foodie friends here.
My daughter and I had Sunday brunch as a birthday treat. The ambiance with pleasant with lots of natural light and we were glad that we had booked a table a couple of days before, otherwise we would have been perched at a counter. The service was attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. Will definitely come back again.
Location is central and the decor is chic. A little loud, but that seems to be the norm these days. As for the food, it was excellent. The squash and spinach salad was delicious, the dressing tangy. I had the cod which was served very hot and was incredibly tasty. The sauce and vegetables could have been a little hotter though (temperature wise). I topped it off with the carrot cake, which was creative and delicious, well balanced with the crumble and cream cheese. A surprise to say the least. Our server was very attentive. The wine list extensive, but a bit pricey. Overall I give the restaurant high marks across the board.
Amazing evening. Have not been here for 3 years, came Sunday evening for family dinner. Couldn’t be any better.
