Had a fantastic time at the Nailors Arms on Sunday 27th July 25. Table location good. Food exceptional lovely and hot, fresh ingredients. Service was very good couldn't do enough for us. Overall a really good experience. Definitely will be returning. Thank you everyone.

Booked table and when we arrived told table was not ready and others had been waiting longer than us. Despite there clearly tables that had been reserved and customers not being seated. Explanation given that Di era had not finished and was waiting to clear tables. Booking system appears to not work. Food excellent and value for money. Manager apologetic but other staff didn’t seem to care.

We came for a friends birthday and we had the best time and the food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately to full for dessert but will hopefully try next time we come we will definitely be returning to the nailers soon. Staff are so helpful and friendly!!! Could not recommend enough

Very poor if you have any form of allergy, brought my wife's gamon salad out minus the bread due to allergy but left the packs of butter melted on the gammon ... carvery was ok but given how good it used to be it's no better than a random Toby carvery

We all had the carvery at the Nailers Arms - the food was tasty but some of the veg were lukewarm. We requested a quiet table but we were given a table next to the carvery (not quiet).

The team that served us were very pleasant. The environment was not great, there was no air-conditioning so the restaurant was very hot. The area around the hot plate when waiting to have a carvery was not good at all, very dirty, the walls behind the serving staff are filthy with food splatters and its clear its been a while that any attention was paid to the cleanliness of the serving area. The food and meats were dry, much of the veg dishes were empty and not refilled, the empty dishes that should have had veg in for us to help ourselves were dried up and crusty. After eating we went outside to the garden as it was too hot to stay in the building, the outside area was disgusting. Old tables that were no longer in use were just thrown up the corner of the garden in a heap, bins were over flowing with bottles and dirty nappies. soiled wet wipes were discarded around the garden as there was no room in the bins. We could not relax due to the number of wasps that were attracted by the mess of the place. I'm not one to leave poor reviews, I just don't return however this was so bad I have to say something. Who ever is in charge or managing that place has no interest in it. That was my 3rd visit in the last 18 months, the other 2 were fine. There has clearly been a drop in standards since I last visited. That was a great place in a great location with a fantastic reputation, word of mouth brought me there. Sadly, I wont be returning.
