Very nice dinner and a nice wine as well.
Awesome food! Great service! Staff was very attentive, food portions were great!
We visited here with another couple. We each had a different entree, all of which was delicious. The servings are large. Great service. Highly recommend.
Never really got very attentive service from Waiter. $60 a plate, you think she would come back and ask us if we liked the Elk?
The restaurant is very nice. Hostess and wait staff were friendly and skilled. Best salads I ever had. Trout was good. Sitting in the bar area was fun!
We went to Mustang for our anniversary. The service was extremely poor and while the food was good, it was very overpriced for what we got. After our meal the server didn’t offer dessert - just brought the check with barely a “thank you.” Park City has a lot of excellent eating establishments - this isn’t one of them. Almost $200 later - needless to say, we won’t be back.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The weather was perfect outside as was our meal. I had the ribs, my husband the sea bass. The pile of ribs was so big I ended up taking some home. The combination of the ribs, watermelon salad and quesadilla and delicious. My husband said it was the best sea bass he had ever had.
Our server told us since it was our anniversary they would prepare a complimentary chocolate soufflé. OMG. It was divine. What a thoughtful gesture!
The dinner was worth the price as there was a ton of food for the money.
We will definitely go back.
We come here many times before but both our entrees had a tremendous amount of salt. The waiter was very nice and remade one of our entrees but it did not seem the same quality of food. We will try again.
This is fine dining where presentation is as important as the quality of the food and service. The prices are higher than an average restaurant, but it is worth the cost. Service is excellent - you will know what the standard could be. This is definitely a place for dinner if you are in Park City UT.
Always the best overall food and menu in town! Always something new and unique
Not great food at an expensive price
Pluses— Great atmosphere and decor. Fries were good. Huge portions
Bad—There were two of us— both of our entrees were inedible. My friends fish smelled so bad I could smell it! My lamb was over cooked and had no flavor. They didn’t charge us for the entrees.
The server from the moment we walked in was bad— bad attitude, unhelpful, personality of cardboard.
Don’t go is my recommendation!! It’s way too expensive to risk having a bad meal. There are definitely better choices in Park City!!
The restaurant was not very busy. Unfortunately they were short on servers and we waited a long time for anything. The bartender was miserable. Our waitress was very nice but terribly overworked. It was not her fault that she could not serve us properly. I did not think the food was so good. I had the lamb shank and there was not much flavor to it. The restaurant comped us desired due to the bad service.
3 of our 4 meals were very good with one (Mahi-mahi) substandard. Prices have risen dramatically since our last visit and are over priced even by Park City standards. Still has a great location and nice atmosphere.
Even though we had a 25% discount on our entrees, there are better places in Park City to eat for the money. The beet salad and the berry cobbler were incredible, but the entrees look great, but my Elk Chop for $60 was over cooked and my wife's Maui Maui probably wasn't fresh. My red wine was totally at room temp instead of proper serving temp. The ambiance of the restaurant is confused. It tries to be western, but then all the walls are covered with bright Park City photography, it doesn't work. Are waiter was good at his job. With so many great choices in PC, we won't go back.
Always a favorite of ours, the food and service is outstanding.
Delicious food; wide selection of dishes; EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY service by Kristine.
Portions are larger than we needed and pricing is high. Service was very pleasant, but restaurant had only a small number of diners on a Sunday evening. We would not go again without a coupon, just because of how much it cost.
Wonderful friendly service fabulous duck chili relent and the elk and scallops finishing with w chocolate soufflé!
Doesn’t get any better !
The food and atmosphere is very nice. It is a little on the expensive side, but you get very generous portions so for most people there is a second meal for you to take home. The trout was very good and the asparagus outstanding. My wife's lamb shank was good, but no where close to the best lamb I have had. Service is very attentive without being intrusive. Nice wine list, but very high mark up on the wine.
Let me just say that our waitress was wonderful and personable. The ambiance was great, the photographs were magical. My husband and I both felt that it was grossly overpriced for what we received. My husband got a green salad, and an entree and I got no appetizer and an entree and it was well over $200 without tip, Oh, and he got a drink and a glass of wine and I got one glass of wine. I got the filet which was fork tender but had no flavor and the sauce just did nothing for the meat, I hate to say. My husband got the Pork Osso Bucco, which was delicious and very tender. We had many wonderful meals while in Park City, and it did not cost this amount of money, mind you we do not have an issue paying for an extraordinary meal. I think they just need to tweak some things and they will be just fine.
The Mustang bills itself as “fine dining” and completely lives up to that advertisement. The food was perfectly prepared and was of outstanding quality, especially my filet mignon. My only regret was that I thought the drinks could have been stronger. A comfortable place to dine with stunning photos of Park City, UT. Everyone in our party agreed it was a wonderful experience all around.
It has been a long time since I've been here but I always really enjoyed the food. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and she was about 15 minutes late for our 7:00 ressie. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer and we were there for 2.5 hours. It took forever to get our food and while the food was very good I thought it was really expensive ($52 for seabass) and so slow. From what I saw there were about 10 people in the restaurant so I don't understand why it took so long.
The food here is excellent. Get the trout!! I went on a Tuesday at 6:30 and it was not busy. the service was great and the food was too. My party included 2 children. I would not say The Mustang is the best place to bring children but they do have a children's menu and it has more than the typical chicken fingers. i was impressed with the variety. My only criticism is that the child's cheeseburger is huge and was overly spiced for a child's pallet. I thought it was delicious, my five year old said it was way too spicy.
Excellent food and service.............................................
Great servers and fantastic food. This place is awesome!
Yet another great restaurant in Park City. We are definitely going back!
This is our second time eating there on vacation. Excellent meal and great service. Owner gave us a chocolate souffle to try.
The chicken piccata is the best dish in Park City!
Great food and excellent service. They really go out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back.
Mediocre food and we were disappointed.
Excellent food with surprising flavors. Great service too. Highly recommend.
Food was excellent. Presentation was beautifully done. Will definitely go again.
The food was amazing! Pricey, but as expected for a ski town. Get the cobbler for dessert!
One of the top Park City restaurants! Excellent choice of food & drinks. They also have added features that keep the ambient noise down which makes for a more intimate dining experience.
Great food, great ambiance. Definitely would dine again!
Very overpriced for quality of food delivered. Waited a long time for our food.
We have dined many times over several years at Mustang. We planned this dinner with relatives & friends. Tonight was disappointing. Service was sub par. Park City has fantastic options for dining, tonight’s experience may affect whether we return.
Pedestrian and grossly overpriced. My trout dish, over-slathered in sauce with some mashed potatoes and 3 asparagus spears was Olive Garden level. Service was inattentive, leaving used dishes on the table throughout the meal. Tableware glasses, plates, flatware were borrowed from Denny's. I felt ripped off by their pricing, taking all into account.
