Interesting place. The prefix menu while expensive was interesting and flavorful. The win pairing was very well done.

From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a star. The service is brilliant. We had the tasting menu. Paired with a bottle of amazing red wine that our Somaya helped us Choose. Of course we started with a cocktail first I had an old-fashioned, and the other in our party had a margarita. Both were made brilliantly. The background music was very upbeat and not intrusive. This is a definite date night spot. However, you need to know that tasting menu is not served on the weekend.

Excellent vegan tasting menu for vegans and non vegans. We especially loved the fava bean salad and the turnip cake. Excellent service as well!

Overall fine experience. Broth with turnip cake was too salty to enjoy. Portions of some courses VERY small (eg pea first course) and room a bit loud. Very attentive and helpful service.

Put into the back room when the place was practically empty. I asked if we could move our table which they did. A few more patrons came in during our dinner but it was not crowded or loud. The tasting menu was okay, I found the food salty. Don’t expect to be full after the meal. The drinks were spot on though, and the staff was polite and attentive.

The Musket Room is one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. Unfortunately the noise level during our last visit was uncomfortable.

This was our second visit to The Musket Room. We enjoyed the first so much, we didn't hesitate to return. My wife and I enjoy bar seating and our request was nicely accommodated by the host. To us a dining experience is more than just about the food. Atmosphere, hospitality, sound level, background music, staff interaction all have a role. All were very good! We ordered from the a la carte menu and enjoyed our very shareable and nicely portioned selections. We'll be back
