Musket Room is a celebrated neighborhood restaurant offering a reliably indulgent experience, whether for a special occasion or enjoying dinner with friends. Since 2013, the Michelin- starred establishment has been committed to the kind of caring, personalized service that makes regulars feel like family and newcomers feel like regulars.

Chef Mary Attea leads a culinary team that draws on their heritages, world travels and personal inclinations to create vivid flavors and inventive dishes that deftly cross borders and defy categorization. The result is transporting food in a warm, refined space with a long bar, intimate nooks and a spacious garden for dining al fresco.

Our Omnivore and Vegan tasting menus are available nightly, with additional a la carte offerings availble nightly at the bar and weekdays in the dining room.

    Join us Thursday, July 10th, in our beautiful garden for our second installment of Sipping with Stella. Our first tasting explored the effects of volcanic soil and the effects it has on the wines of the different volcanic regions. This month, we explore how climate change is reshaping the world of wine, altering growing conditions, shifting regions, and in some surprising cases, even improving quality in unexpected places from Champagne to Canada. We will be focusing on a selection of four wines accompanied by bites from the Musket Room kitchen.

    From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a star. The service is brilliant. We had the tasting menu. Paired with a bottle of amazing red wine that our Somaya helped us Choose. Of course we started with a cocktail first I had an old-fashioned, and the other in our party had a margarita. Both were made brilliantly. The background music was very upbeat and not intrusive. This is a definite date night spot. However, you need to know that tasting menu is not served on the weekend.

    Overall fine experience. Broth with turnip cake was too salty to enjoy. Portions of some courses VERY small (eg pea first course) and room a bit loud. Very attentive and helpful service.

    Certainly a contender for best value in NY tasting menus. Judging among Michelin Star peers, I'd say they have excellent service, very good food with no noted flaws, some memorably impressive bites and solid creativity. Above average wine pairing. Also a good choice when wanting fine dining under some time constraints as service is efficient and adaptable. A very good choice for people new to tasting menus or wanting approachable dishes and atmosphere that both still impress. A top rec for people who are in for a short visit and want a safe bet for a relatively casual fine-dining experience with an easy reservation.
