Open to holiday makers, wedding guests and locals, the Murray Arms Hotel in Gatehouse of Fleet is an extension of Laggan, offering bed and breakfast, grazing boards between 1.00pm - 4.30pm and our supper menu from 5pm - 8.30pm.

We have undergone an extensive refurbishment, winning Hotel of the Year in 2023 for Best Design. Our new spaces include our bar area which is dog friendly and our new restaurant.

Great menu and midweek specials - Malabar chicken curry was delicious and the venison burger was devoured in seconds. Nice selection of non alcoholic cocktails and excellent wine list. Another repeat booking for great food, excellent service and a beautiful setting.

Beautifully cooked Sunday roast - and lots of variety. Accommodated our two dogs with no fuss and we highly enjoyed the experience. We will be returning!

Attended for the special Curry at the Murray event. Food was excellent and authentic, though we did have to have rice served separately. Large portions and we shared the dishes to experience a range of flavours. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient, explaining the dishes and checking with the chef what ingredients had been used. The decor is lovely too. A huge improvement from the new owners. Will return, I’m sure.

Booked a table in the bar for Father's Day as we were bringing a dog with us. We live fairly locally so this is a place that we know is excellent. As ever we were not disappointed - our Sunday roasts were exceptional and the staff were as friendly, helpful and professional as always. Our dog appreciated the lovely treats Thank you ☺️

I was lucky enough to celebrate father's day with my dad at the Murray Arms on Sunday and was really impressed with the ambience, service and quality of the food. I would whole-heartedly recommend.

We had a brilliant dinner on Saturday night- the staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating and the service was quick. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and mocktails. We will be back!
