WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of London's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From Baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

    The tacos are definitely over priced and so are the appetizers. Some of the tacos were pretty good but $7 a piece for tiny tacos and $15 for a small plate of fries with corn and salsa on them is a bit steep. Overall great service but food is medium. Didn’t have drinks, which I feel could be the main draw.

    The food was ok. The noise level was so loud you had to yell to hear your dinner mates. Water was served in plastic glasses .

    Awesome food. Friendly service. But I requested a table that wasn't near a loud music source because one of our party is hearing impaired. We weren't near a speaker, but we were in what was by FAR the loudest room in the restaurant... conversation was impossible.

    First time at The Mule - London. Visiting from out of town and went here with family, who live in London. Also their first time at The Mule. One of the reasons we chose The Mule, was one of our party members has a gluten insensitivity. The food was delicious, with many options of tacos and alcoholic fare to choose from. We tried several different tacos and found all to be superb!! Our sever Monika was excellent, both informative and attentive. I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes tacos. Excellent value.
