WELCOME TO THE MULE.

We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of Cambridge's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

All the food was delicious including the starters. Our service was just OK but not something you would rave about. Could be that we eat too much, but we found the table small. I would return but I would request a booth.

Never has a waitress provided such poor service to us. When eating chips and queso she offered us more chips to finish the dip. She did not bring them until after we ate our mains (this was an appetizer). Later on we had said we didn’t want desert or anything else and she walked away. I had to get up from the table and ask her to give us our bills as she was folding menus?!? Horrible service and ok food, best of dining else where.

The tacos are a bit expensive but okay. Being able to order individual tacos is a cool idea as sometimes you might just need a little snack. The place has a "what if a food truck was a restaurant" feel. It's definitely a younger crowd, but the 80s movies playing in the background was fun. The music was loud, but not memorable. We checked in at the front, but didn't get checked in for our reservation (but OpenTable straightened it out with no intervention on our part).

Great place to dine as someone with celiac! I love being able to walk in knowing I will never face cross contamination risks there.

Outrage server was great. Friendly. Super attentive( it was stupid busy). Food was fresh, fast and well presented. Love this place.
