The Muddy Duck, Monkton Farleigh is a 17th Century country inn with a modern twist. Nestled in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, just outside Bath, we like to think we are doing things a little bit differently- with a modern take on classic British food, all of which is locally sourced- on a seasonal basis.

Our wisteria clad, stone exterior envelopes a series of traditional picnic tables, for perching with a pint and some nibbles. To the rear, our garden is pinned with colourful, bistro style seating taking in the beautiful farmland that surrounds us.

Inside, we have pockets of characterful areas you can call your own – be it the sunken snug to enjoy papers by the fireside, our generously spaced pub seating, a stool at the bar or a table in the relaxed restaurant.
