Food was good but fish & chips served without a single leaf of salad - disappointing! Service was marginal - took a while to get water on table & first drink order. No tea or coffee available! Couldn’t believe it. A bit pushy later on to get us out of dining room - they could have invited us to stay on in the bar. Overall pretty good food at good price, service needs an uplift and get an espresso machine!

Great food, atmosphere and service. Cool refurb of the dining space, however, quite noisy when the dining room is full.

We enjoyed a great family meal. Great service and attention to detail. Loved the variety of meals on the menu and great drinks and wine listings. We’ll be bay!

I want to write a rubbish review because I don't want people coming here. I want to keep it to myself. Stay away, its terrible, not worth the drive. Seriously its like I have a bar in my lounge room with great people and food. If I have a heart attack here I'm going to make sure I have a DNR in my will coz this would be the place to fall off the perch, or on the golf course.

Relaxed atmosphere, neat fitout, friendly service & reasonable prices. Will have to try the beer garden sometime, looks very inviting

Nice to see that the Morning Star Hotel has returned to its roots as a fantastically vibrant local pub. Great front bar, excellent dining room and brilliant beer garden. Love that the original bathrooms are still in tack, complete with patterned wall tiles from the 70’s. Worth a visit for sure.
