Xavier Picquenot and his kitchen team have put The Brasserie firmly on the culinary map, offering guests local ingredients to showcase some old fashioned classics. With our onsite smokery and extensive kitchen garden, both have become central to the menus developed for the restaurant. There is a olde worlde bar and a large lounge area for pre and post dinner drinks. There is no strict dress code.

The Moonraker has hosted many special events over the years… a Golden anniversary or two, a 50th, a 60th and even a 100th! We are privately owned and are passionate about showing our guest a good time. Whatever the occasion the hotel can provide the perfect backdrop to make your event that little bit more special. We have a number of private dining options at the Moonraker Hotel from intimate gatherings for up to 12 in the Manor House Drawing Room to large events up to 70 guests in the Restaurant. Our Greenhouse Marquee offers private dining for up to 100 guests, offers a private bar and can be used all year round. The Marquee boasts a log burner and heating for those winter days. We also offer Exclusive Use packages where we give you the keys to the Moonraker Hotel for 24 hours!
