Open Tuesday night to Sunday with food served all day from noon.
We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.

Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.

The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do.

This is exciting times for the pub which now has a new bar serving real ale straight from the cask. Be sure to check out the website regularly to keep up with the latest events and offers.

The Music is typically Soul and Motown with certain acts focusing on artists, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner etc. The Tipi Lounge is available for quieter dining.

Fantastic food. All mains followed starters at a reasonable pace and all together (5 different meals). Service was excellent, staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We did not feel rushed and no request was too much. We shall definitely go again.

The Moody Mare accommodated our increased numbers at the last minute as my efforts to update our booking through OpenTable were not successful. The staff were friendly and attentive but did not press us. The food was tasty and served attractively. The one trade off was the traffic noise from Seven Mile Lane, but it was intermittent.

The food is amazing. Many items are made in house from fresh locally sourced produce. The homemade bread and soup are so tasty. On the main course each item on the plate is elevated to a higher standard than many other local restaurants. The cherry on the cake is the lovely, kind and happy staff.

There was 4 of us for dinner. 3 of us were satisfied with their meal. Myself, who chose "Pie of the day" found it very strange. It was titled Spanish Pork...... So....... I would have said a better description would be Ratatouille Pie, not nice at all, and perhaps a good way of the chef using up spare continental vegetables. It will not stop us going back, I will be a little more careful in my choice of mains for the future. Good service and nice beer.
