Sticky Toffee Pudding
Served with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream
Very quiet, felt pressured to pay and leave so staff could go home.
Calamari over cooked and wrong wine delivered.
Quick service and delicious steaks
Service wasn’t great- wrong cutlery, no tap water, no napkins, got asked if we wanted the bill by 3 different waiters every 5 minutes. Calamari batter was undercooked
Lovely food, great service and relaxed atmosphere. Easy to book and a wide variety of options available on both the lunchtime and full menu.
We took our friends to the Moody Cow after telling them how good it was. They where most impressed with the whole experience as we knew they would be.
Excellent food, excellent and attentive service, would highly recommend.
The staff were lovely, we chose to sit outside, the service was quick and the food delicious
This was our second visit to the Moody Cow and the food was as amazing as the first time. Good choice and the burgers are wonderful. Would like to see ribs as a main, but there was plenty of other things. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but not too much. We will be going again.
We had a lovely meal here pate starter was gorgeous and the fillet steak was melt in the mouth! Definitely worth a visit ❤️ Can’t wait to book again!
Lovely food, great service but our seat by the door wasn't the best and the decor felt sparce!
A bit utilitarian!
Excellent food, will return again for the fillet!
Our visit to Moody Cow was lovely. Food and service was very good. Definitely go again.
Lovely meal in the outdoor area. Only thing we would fault would be the seasoning of the steak as we found it could have be better seasoned. Other than that everything was great.
Restaurant seemed understaffed. Only saw 1 waitress and 1 bartender.
Bbq pulled pork, wasn't great. Quite dry, lacking any flavour.
Nachos had stringy cheese that cheese string would be proud of.
Wife's burger was very very dry.
I had mixed grill, steak was beautiful, bacon chop was alright, same for the chicken breast.
Bbq ribs had the same marinade as the pulled pork. Lacked any kind of flavour. Wild boar sausages, didn't really get it, bland in flavour no seasoning simply meh.
Fried egg, hard, didn't get a sauce with the mixed grill as I wanted to dip my chips in the egg as any normal person would. But egg yolk was quite.
I booked on Friday evening, got a table booked for a hour and half later, restaurant looked quite when arrived, didn't sit inside, could of been bust but only saw 2 tables leave and 2 come in whilst we were there.
Wouldn't go back, nothing amazed me, no wow factor, overall quite underwhelming.
Excellent food accompanied by a good bottle of wine, with friendly and attentive service.
Had a wonderful evening. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic!!
We often dine here and we are always greeted with respect. The food is lovely and the service is brilliant.
Amazing food and staff extremely friendly. Steaks are amazing.
SeaBass nice, but Strogfanoff like nothing seen before. Service slow. Table svrappy. Needs brightening up.
Ordered a cocktail the gin fizz which tasted like nail varnish remover. I ordered another drink aperol spritz which never came. My partner went to the bar to ask for it and it wasn’t even made yet.
Our starters came which were average followed far too quickly by our mains. Our side of onion rings were never ordered by the waitress and she asked us ‘do you still want them?’ When we had finished our meal. Obviously by this point it was too late.
We would’ve stayed for dessert and cocktails had it not have been such rubbish service.
I complained and asked if the drinks could be removed from the bill. They weren’t.
They then had the audacity to charge me £10 service charge.
Horrendous. Would not return.
Good food, good service, great place to eat and would recommend to friends and family
The food was nice but in my opinion a little over priced, wasn't much of an atmosphere and spent most of evening over hearing the chefs conversations ,also felt like someones poor relation and shoved in a corner out of way on a small table with hard chairs when other groups had roomy booths .
Fantastic food and drinks
This was an excellent night out! As always the moody cow did not disappoint the food was great!!
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and I was more than happy with what I paid based on the quality of the food. Will definitely be coming back soon
Poor service, average food, staff friendly enough just not observational or attentive, spoilt what should have been a nice evening with friends.
Lush experience thank you x
Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Outside area was lovely and food was even better. 10/10
I had the pulled pork burger and it was by far the best burger I have ever had
Excellent as always, food wonderful and staff very attentive. A lovely atmosphere. Can't be beaten.
Nice food, lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
Been before the pandemic and thought it was awesome. Cannot put my finger on why it is not the same. Obviously it's Covid safety measures put in place but that was not it. Was not pleased being offered a table in a busy passage way with high foot fall against what looked like pvc sheeting, opposite the door where food came out. The tall lady with curly hair (sorry did not ask her name) who was a credit to the establishment in her hosting skills. I'm aware that this awful pandemic has altered a few things.l, and people don't want to handle cash. But, be aware they is a 10% service charge that is in the small print, but it's discretionary. This is not just on food but also on alcohol, and for 2 of us that was over a £10 pound tip !!! That's on a meal for 2. Yes I did think a tip was diserved, But not 10% . I want to choose my tip to the value of what services i've been given. I want my serving staff to get all of their tips and NOT the tax man. Plus I want the employee to be paid a decent wage and not make it up by tips.
Started with Brie wedges that were mouthwatering. I had braised brisket and truffle mash which simply melted in your mouth. Highly recommemded if you love all things beef
The service was amazing and the range of food was also great. Perfect for the children which helped. Staff went above and beyond
Mains were best bit of meal. Starters were average and desserts were awful.
Some areas could be cleaner especially the outside, I know it’s outside and harder to keep clean but the seats were really dirty.
Excellent food, very friendly staff we had a great evening thank you
Food was very tasty, stakes were nicely cooked, however waiting time could be less
I think its gone downhill i didnt think it was very clean, the service was poor we had 1 drink each and nobody came over and asked if we would like more drinks, it took ages for the food to come and it wasnt anything special. I wont be going back in a hurry.
Steaks were well done even though we asked for medium/rare-not what you would expect from a restaurant focusing on meat dishes. However the food was tasty enough but average.
Sat in the conservatory area at the back of the restaurant-I was disappointed we were sat here because there was no atmosphere and the decor wasn't very nice in this area. Area between restaurant and toilets was quite run down. Toilets were clean but again decor was run down. Service staff were good and happy to help but we got the impression the team wanted us to go so they could close up for the night. With so many good restaurants in leeds and Bradford we won't be returning in a rush unfortunately.
Table booked for 7.30, waited 1.30 mins until food arrived at 9 then rushed out by staff at 10 30. Male server was loudly pulling out chairs but apologies about noise and co tinued to do this.
Food was great but had to ask for drink service each time.
Not sure if I would rush back for another meal.
