   Do not eat here, simple as that. Our table wasn't ready, the staff couldn't care less, half the menu was unavailable then what did arrive was only half cooked. Bad service i can accept as a one-off but the way we were spoken to afterwards was frankly a disgrace, the front of house manager attempted to explain away a leaky portion of fried chicken as a matter of biology (I'm a catering industry professional, I've seen it all and you aren't fooling me sunshine), and we were offered absolutely nothing in recompense. All this took so long to resolve that we simply could not face braving the mains. From my experience this place has a reputation it does not deserve.

   We were late for our booking due to an acciddnt on the motorway, staff were great when we arrived, service and food just as impressive. Would highly recommend.

   We arrived and ordered including drinks. Starters arrived (rather bland and under seasoned, ravioli thick) drinks did not. Enquiries made, still no sign of anything to drink. Gave up and got drinks at the bar after finishing starter instead. Mains were very tasty though, fish and chips were great and I'm assured my other half liked the burger. So if you come, skip the starter, get your drinks before you're seated and you'll be grand.

   We went for a dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy restaurant the food and service were both great, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The menu had a good selection of dishes to cater for different tastes.

   We have been before and found it casual with good food and a lively atmosphere. This time the service was poor with our waitress appearing to be surly and disinterested. We waited a long time to be asked to give our drinks order as she seemed to have forgotten to ask us - we had to call her over. Not sure if they were short staffed or it was an off night. The food in general was very disappointing which was the opinion of all 4 of us. At the end of the evening we asked for coffees and 2 cocktails which never arrived. In the end we gave up and asked for the bill. Sadly we won’t go again or recommend it for food.

   Good food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Wine reasonably priced too.

    We came here for a celebration Sunday lunch having seen the reviews online. Not only did the restaurant system have no record of our booking, leaving us in the bar area, the service was poor - for example, the wine we ordered came after the starter, and was plonked o the table unopened and without glasses. The food was also a bit of a let down, with some rock hard roast potatoes and meagre meat portions. Such a shame.
