   it was not what we were originally expecting. it is like a tapas menu but not as most of the dishes can not be shared. there was total 6 of us which we were squashed into a booth and no table room. food was not up to scratch Lamb not nice, Chicken was to salty and burned that it could not be eaten. service could do with improvement could do with a experienced head person. was waiting a while for drinks, and twice they were mixed up. dont think we will be visiting again.

   Service was terrible, our server wouldn’t bring tea to our table even after being asked 3 separate times for it.

   Fantastic night in the Monks Society. We had tapas - lots of choices, all delicious. Staff were excellent - really helpful and friendly. Its a lovely building and atmosphere. I would totally recommend it.

   We had a great night out at the Monks Society. The atmosphere/ambiance was great and it was nice to see a menu with variety (sometimes hard to find in Ireland). The cocktail I had was delicious. The food, while very tasty, wasn't quite *as* good as I was hoping it would be.

   Staff are exceptionally friendly/ helpful. Look forward to bar re opening for drinks / nibbles

   Very welcoming greeting from Shane who was professional and friendly as ever. Service was great and staff were top notch, the place looks amazing and will be back again in the future!

   Prawn starter was delicious. Had duck for main - duck was mediocre, mash and gravy ok, vegetables awful.

   Very limited brunch menu I had the poached eggs, have to say wouldn't have been the best I've had, maybe the option of crispy bacon would have gone well with the sides already accompanying the dish. No parking in the carpark beside the venue, due to GAA match was disappointing also.

   Food was fairly average. Prawn starter was tasty enough but barely warm. Butter chicken was average. Chicken wings weren't very appetising looking. No crispy coating. Cocktails were delicious and service was good.

    Staff were good and food was fine, not nearly worth what they are charging. Much better options for the price around Ennis.
